Favourite Building

• The Job Centre
• The exterior of the Guildhall on Market Square. Castle bank is well worth a look.
• Old house on shelf-bank - looks like Norman Bates' pad in Psycho
• place where i used to live many parties and noise

Demolish It Now Building

• The Job Centre
• The old cinema,eyesore that no longer shows films. The old station...a sad reminder of the time we had conveinent public transport.
• The statue in "Red Square" of a guy with a sheep!
• The Vic/Bonkers Bar complex.
• The "new" market hall, all that is bad in 1960s rebuilding.
• the whole town needs rebuilding

The Best Things

• The right side of the border
• The sheep and her farmer
• A nice accesible town thats moved with the times..but still keeps its country border features.
• Bargain Booze
• all my friends back their......very popular....but glad i moved away from such a shithole.....and the pubs....and the kebab on a sat night or mcnallys butcher

The Worst Things

• The kids
• OSWESTRY IS SHIT
• No cinema.No trainstation. No proper theatre. No live music venues. Lacks creativity in everyway.
• My Mum lives their
• Inbreeding
• the so called dont mess with us boys started the trouble......need a massive thrashing.....but its always 10 - 1......no entertainment in the town very very boring and everyone knows everyone.....well know me and my family anyway hahaha

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
