Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars

• the hobgoblin is open until 2am fri & sat with live entertainment
• I see Club Montepulciano a monthly club at the Rivoli has lost its late licence so may go elsewhere. Ho hum, so much for happening places to go out.

Live Music Venues

• Carling Academy Brixton is the nearest, biggest venue.
• the hobgoblin are looking for talented people to peform,bands,comedy,solo's etc
• The Hob opposite Forest Hill train station.discos,karaoke,bingo to live bands every weekend.Fantastic atmostphere over 21's.Very social friendly crowd and welcoming staff,come and join us see what youv'e been missing.
• Hobgoblin, opposite the station.
• The All Inn One-Foresters Bar have live Jazz every Saturday night. Great place,nice atmosphere with good wines and real aleas.
• The Hobgoblin opposite Forest Hill train station is a great venue to perform or watch live bands,friday saturday nights they have live music usually bands but occasionaly karioke and the bar is open until 2am fri and sat.
• The 'Hob'opposite the station has live bands but that's the only reason to go in there. The Horniman Museum has occasional World music events, look out for Hornimania in the park.
• The Hobgoblin opposite the station has a variety of music every night. It's less gothic than it used to be and has an internet cafe upstairs.

Cinemas

• Peckham cinema is the nearest and cheapest. Dodgy area though. From Crystal Palace you can catch the 227 bus to Beckenham where theres is a decent Odean cinema.
• The Capitol is owned by Wetherspoon's now. It would be good if they could show films too.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
