Favourite Building

• Hornimans museum
• The Horniman museum - being extended to new glory.
• Forest Hill Library. it's lovely. and it has books in it.
• Wetherspoon's DO have a license for the old bingo hall - sit tight.
• The old cinema/bingo hall which really needs to be sorted out and re-established as a thrivbing social 'hang-out' - In one way or another.

Demolish It Now Building

• Most of London Road - a bigger Sainsbury's would be better.
• most of em, specially Sainsburys. And those stinky toilets nr. Devonshire rd.
• Forest Hill Main Street
• The high street
• Most of the high street - but what can you do???

The Best Things

• The worst bit are being pulled down and re-built. East London Line extension???
• Hornimann Museum and Gardens
• Hornimann museum Good dentists
• It's gonna get a tube service 'soon'. An extension of the East London Line in about 2006. See the LUL site...
• It ain't Camden/Finsbury Park/Deptford/etc etc etc

The Worst Things

• Connex. Nuff said.
• Lack of nightlife
• Lack of good watering holes
• I love it - the Enfield of SOUTH London.
• Having your train ticket checked almost everytime you get the train...

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
