• COLLAPSED LUNG - 'Eat My Goal' popstars - so cool they blew out Top of the Pops... Doh! Guitarist now found near the helm of the Square. NIHAL - Sony award winning Radio One DJ/TV hiphop pundit. Previously in Collapsed Lung and even earlier found Graffitting Harlow's underpasses & winning all freestyle rap jams ever. Brian Herring - writes pantos fot the playhouse, and well-travelled pupeteer. Had his hand up Hangle on Wizodora for many months...
• Jade from Big Brother lives in Church Langley,Harlow. Lenny from Eastenders also lives in Church Langley,Harlow.
• GET OUT OF HARLOW, IT IS WRONG
• Griff Rhys-Jones didn't live in Harlow, he came from nearby Epping - a much nicer place. But he may have trodden the odd dog turd in Harlow.
• Martin Taylor, brilliant jass guitarist. By far the best thing ever to come out of Harlow
• Ace from such things as gladiators, diy sos and various pantomimes can be found drunk as a sack in many establishments or brawling outside kebaberies regularly. Very approachable when asleep on cycle tracks
• Lots of famous people just outside Harlow. The only ones stupid enouth to live here are teenage Tottenham footballers and Jade from Big Brother.
• DJ Franky : Dj of mystery, having seen Justin Timberlake and boy George, he does a lot of work for charity with Frank Bruno and Steve Davis to name but a few xx
• Two very (in)famous people. Jordan and Barrymore.
• Paula Thomas - Gymnast who took part in the Sydney 2000 Olympics
• It isn't Graham Cole in The Bill, it's Graham Smith - a nice bloke who was in my tutor group (Elliot House) at Burnt Mill. Very shy and hardly ever spoke - the last person you would expect to be an actor. Graham Cole played football for BM Staff (and others including Gt Parndon and Epping) but didn't go to BM School. He went to Netteswell and now lives in Albury.
• JADE from Big Brother has recently moved to the town...woohooo...and there's always Posh and Becks round the corner who I recently spotted in Pizza Hut!
• jade goody was in the news of the world this sunday photographed training in harlow town park. my brother spotted her up the dive in the willow and my m8 saw her at the gym cos thats where her new personal trainer works or something!!!! my m8 was on tv cos he was in the crowd of that posh and becks world cup party they had, she saw cilla black, ant and dec..... erm...loadsa peaps!! and my m8 saw posh at b&q the other week and she got all excited cos she loved her and so she squealed!!!!!!!!!!!!!ha!!!!! i met lennie from eastenders a couple of years ago up the town wen he turned on the x mas lites!! i duno if ne1 has heard of this other person but thomas jules stock is one of the members of the excellent new group on the r&b come drum& bass come garage scene. i once saw him perform up the dive in his group called 3rd edge!!!! they are so good!! listen out for the mc'ing cos it is wikid!!! ne way gettin back 2 tom. he is pretty good m8s wiv my bro and he like comes round my house and that and makes tapes, ive even got a tape they made with my bro on the decks and tom on the mic.!!! every time i c him on telly im like yer i know him and he was on pop world on channel 4 the other day and the box and i had to phone my m8s to make them watch him cos he is so good!!!!!
• Steve Harris, Bass Guitarist with Iron Maiden lives in Harlow 'suburb' Matching Tye. 'Improv' percussionist Eddie Prevost records in Matching Tye and also runs his experimental music label "Matchless Recordings" there.
• All the thick ones, I heard Jordan was from there. Another ran for a council seat at some stage somewhere. Hmmm... wonder what sort of policies she would have introduced. Micheal Barrymore lives nearby in Roydon.
• Glenn Hoddle is from 'Arlo, it also has loads of Chinese people due to them arriving in the country, find a cab and saying 'arlo taxi dwiver'
• tris is an internationally acclaimed graffiti artist and paints just about anything for anybody....(sorry for the plug mate.)sir frederick gibberd architect...and some twat from the bill but icant remember his name.

• Mr. Knowles is a celebrity in my opinion!
• Posh and Becks's Beckingham Palace is in Harlow.
• Graham Cole. (aka PC Tony Stamp of the Bill) went to Burnt Mill school and then worked as a plaster assistant at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Jennifer Steadman published poet and novel extrordinair still lives here.
• Oh dear, ummm, well michael barrymore was in millenium on that very eventful night, Ace the gladiator can be spotted occasionally (yay!!) and i once saw spuggie from byker grove in bay trading but god knos why she was down here and it was several years ago!!!
• Michael Barrimore lived,buggered and allegedly murdered, all from this showbiz centre of the universe.
• Dave Gilmore from Pink Floyed used to live in the Black and White beamed building as you go out of Harlow towards Hamlet Hill. He still lives somewhere near and keeps his old world war plane in a hanger at North Weald (he also allows Gary Newman, GARY WHO? to keep his plane in the same hanger). This hanger was also used by Billy Piper to make one of here vidios but I can't remember which record it was.
• Chester Camon, Nicks older brother is lead gitarist with Brian Ferry. I was in the same year at School with Chester both he and Nick went to Saint Marks RC.
• Luke Young, Tottenham Hotspur defender.
• Noel Thatcher: Golds in Atlanta Paralympics. Now Gold and Bronze in Sydney. Also President of Harlow Running Club
• more porn stars than the locals would like to admit!!!
• DJ Franky..Once resident of Churchfield.. Now promoting 80s retro dance music and he even promised once to come back to Halrow to do a gig
• Mgr Alfred Gilbey - his family lived in Mark Hall before it burned down during WW2 and gave the land for the Roman Catholic church in Old Harlow.

• Martin Taylor Jazz Guitarist and member of Stefan Graffeli's (think that's how you spell it!!) band was raised in Harlow and went to Passmores. He's now gone solo and doing alright with concerts and recordings.
• ACE from Gladiators Lydsey Dawn Mackensie (porn Star!) Lenny from Eastenders Jordan (page 3 girl) for a while!!
• Erm, Glenn Hoddle was born here and there's a pub named after Jean Harlow.
• Nick Camen male model 70`s/80`s,rumoured to have dated Madonna, also had a "one hit wonder" in the charts, think in the early eighties, VERY VERY good looking guy!!!! Also Kevin Braefaero (spelt it wrong I know!) another male model from the 70`s/80`s

Buskers, Street Entertainers

• there is a lovely man who i believe i have also seen in Romford and Chelmsford, who plays the guitar and has a cute little dog
• Harlow,for some reason accomadates only annoying little peruvian pan-pipe players to entertain the unwitting public while the pubs are put out.
• DJ Franky...Once seen busking outside a local pizza shop..Now a man of talent and fame and from harlow
• They had latin dancers last week, opera singers are often around, and you can usually buy a Big Issue outside Marks and Spencers
• Man with a comb outside Burger King doing Elvis numbers
• Pan Pipes outside Macdonalds etc. The bloke selling the big issue outide Marks and Spencers.
