• There is Shearers Music Shop up by the Caithness Enterprise HQ in Thurso. It is about 100m North East of Woolworths.

• as above. the faither once got a tin whistle from the shop, but he liked capercaillie and so was deemed decent enough to trade with. plus, shop is onlt 4ft square and so tin whistles is all there is room for. Musical instruments are like handsome men, if you want to find one, travel 200 miles southward.
• Music Center at the end of the toon again.....it's only small (there again so is Thurso) catering for all music tastes singin & dancin or for stringin ye piano
• Again, The Music Shop is your lot. If you took Concorde to London and did your shopping there for four nights staying in the Ritz you'd still end up paying less than shopping in Caithness.
• Music Shop has small selection of guitars (acoustic and electric) ,keyboards and pipes. Various accessories such as Guitar Strings and Pegs, etc are in good stock.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
