• The Abbey Gardens is always beautiful in the summertime. Nowton Park is really good for a quiet walk.   
• Nowton Park is good for hiding and doing naughty stuff if you know what I mean....   
• St. James, the abbey, top of multistorey,   
• if your a "greeeeebbboo" and aged 17+ a good place to start would be west suffolk college. in the summer alot of emo kids go smoke pot in the college woods and will always greet u with a smile and a toke.   
• train station, nice.   
• There are so many good places just to sit and talk in Bury. Not including all the pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants, there is the Abbey Gardens during the day,and the Great Graveyard next to the Cathedral any time day or night. A good place to go and avoid the local Outdoor drinking laws is down the little lane opposite the road to Bury Bowl... right down the end, at the other side of the embankment for the A14. Another worthwhile spot is No Mans Land Nature Reserve behind the police station.... Noone can see u for miles, but take a torch at night. Its great for those *ahem* intimate evenings. Beware of dogwalkers tho. Other good Hook up spots include the benches in the Cattle Market, The Child Health Centre down Hospital Road, near st John's Church and various Benches in town centre, although the last one is perhaps best avoided if your not an incontinent drunk or "chav".   
• abbey gardens is the best place to chill!!!! and st james school feild can b nnice to just sit on   
• St james's field seems to be a good one for cheap cider and gary boy in the making kids who arent old enough to have cars but walk around in true towny style with a limp in their walk and a cap pointing skywards   
• we have always been amused by the benches between langtons (formerly redbox sob!) and clement jocelyn, always full of 17 year old druggies and tehir twelve year slags   
• The "bars" down the bottom of horringer court(railngs at the river),old "HCBH" group could all tell you a few times of getting moved on by the local contabulary,and the fun to be had out of town.NOTHING ILLEGAL HONESTLY   
• Back of the leisure centre, nuff said.   
• The good old council office on angel hill, you know where I mean we meaning me and my mates use the benches out their to watch the outragiolus yet hillarious traffic from 17:30 onwards where everyone just wants to go home, there is even goiod music playing...aaah the sweet sound of a car horn!   
• We tend to meet up at the bus station or the back of woolies, then we'll just hang around about town for a bit, might go to the abbey gardens or the skatepark. There's a church down st johns street, good to sit outside and chat.

• THE BEST PLACE TO MEET UP IN BURY IS THE CATTLE MARKET AS THERE IS LOADS TO DO THERE, THER ARE BENCHES AND HIGH TABLES TO JUMP OFF.   
• Gainsborough field and a bottle of white lightning cider!Those were the days!   
• From my recent, if brief, visit to Bury, the chief recreation for the under 25's appeared to be driving rather sad 'hot hatches' in circles around the centre of town. The Abbey gardens seemed to attract the nu-metal hooded sweatshirt crowd during the day and everyone else just wandered aimlessly about.   
• Abbey Gardens are a great place to meet up with mates and sunbathe in the summer.   
• Moreton Hall Community Centre! All the Slags and G Boys you could ever dream of, he he. Also, those Sad bastard G-Boyz hang outsite King Edward VI Upper between 8.30am till 9am and later in the day (after they're gaz around town) at 3.30pm till 4.30 pm. Expect to see lowered down suspension, shiny alloys, blacked out windows, e reg Ford Escorts occupied by a 20 year old, unemployed, spotty, baseball cap wearing Sad Twat (aka GARY BOY)   
• On the bench outside Maccie Dees. The Abbey Gardens. The corn exchange have been holding a few nights especially for under 18's.   
• I personally am a fan of the cornexchange steps or the tree in front of woolworths. Both rock if you wanna pull a gaz boy.   
• Abbey Gardens,(especially in the summer) although you do tend to get 13 year olds hanging around having crafty fags.   
• The Abbey Gardens was by far the best place to kick back with friends and relax. The abbey ruins also provided a degree of privacy for various activities...
