• ALBANY CYCLES IN COVENTRY ON THE ALBANY ROAD IS THE WORST BIKE SHOP IN THE WEEST MIDLANDS MAKE THAT THE UK. HE SELLS UTTER SHIT AND COULDNT FIX A TRICICALE AND WONT GOVE WARRANTY FOR SHIT DONT BUY FORM HIM GO TO BROADRIBBS INSTEAD OR RIDE

• Albany cycles in Earlsdon in the south west of Cov is prety much the best bike shop in Cov. Mostly top end mountain bikes ( downhill dirt jump street) but it can get other stuff if u order it. sum BMX, again desent stuff. The owner, a top bloke called Si and a large bunch of regulars can be found in the Forest of Dean,Ludlow or Cannock chase or any other well know riding spot pretty much most sundays.
• Urban Village at the custard factory in brum sometimes has scooters.

• O'Briens Cycles in Foleshill road woz pretty good but it closed down so i dont know. the one in far gosford street iz ok for the general stuff (tyres, tubes, seatposts, seats, handlebars, etc, etc) but it doesnt have much variety or much specialist stuff. worth tryin tho

• RIDE ON HOLBROOKES LANE IS THE BEST PLACE TO BUY ANY SORT OF BIKE ,WHETHER IT BE A BMX, OR A SUPER SLEEK ROAD BIKE.
• Best place i know of is Halfords. If you buy one, and have a problem with it a fair while later, they fix it for you free of charge. Bargain!

• Nice motorbike shop on the foleshill road just before the bridge where the road forks.

• RIDE in Holbrooks. A friend from school owns it,so I am probably biased, but if you are into any sort of cycling, or into skate-boarding, it is difficult to beat the range of stock and the service (the owners are the sons of John Atkins - former British Cyclo-cross champion (8 times ?).

• WHEELZ BIKE SHOP ON LOCKHURST LANE HAS CLOSED DOWN AS DEAN AND SUE HAVE EMIGRATED TO AUSTRALIA.

• Barnett, Cyclone, Fenside, Hawk, J C Cycles, John Atkins, Norton Hill and O'Brien's.
• Mike's Bikes in High Street, Kenilworth (okay so its not Coventry but its only 7 miles down the road and worth the trip. Friendly with good advice.
• Good Mountain Bike shop down Gosford Street, cant remember where, been ages since I was a Student here and used me bike!
• For cycles Atkins on Far Gosford Street is very good and full of parts, so is Hawk at the bottom of the City Arcade. For motorbikes try M&P on the Longford Road in the north of the city - only place worth mentioning in Coventry
• Theres 'D' Zone up on Arbury Road and another place down in Manor Court Road opposit Chaplins Fish Bar
• Hawk Cycles in City Arcade. Best avoided unless you want something cheap and cheerful and don't care about the terrible customer "service" you get afterwards.
• For push bikes the best shop has to go to "Wheelz Cycles" on Lockhurst Lane, Holbrooks. As well as selling cool B.M.X's and accesories Dean in the shop will do repairs for the same day, and they are also good prices.

• Cov city center is ok 4 street in the evening when the shoppers r out of the way, lots of steps ledges and drops and the like. The dungeon on Keniliworth road is basicaly SHIT, it cud b very good with work, but any work that ive dun has ben leveled or trashed. I DONT EVEN WASTE MY TIME WITH IT ANY MORE.

• It is illegal to use the woods in Binley Woods.

• U can go to the memorial park but its usually pretty full of sk8boarders. ders other sk8/bmx parks up Ansty Road n in Holbrooks. And theres an indoor one on Foleshill Road (da old Mercia building). Alot of ppl also mess bout in that area outside the transport museum.
• Binley Woods, Kenilworth common, round near Morrisons supermarket and Hampton-in-Arden - All for Trails and dirt jumps : - D
• GO TO BINLEY WOODS ,ASK A LOCAL FOR THE EXACT LOCATION.OR COUNDON WEDGE ,SMALL BUT V-GOOD
• counden wedge is still going strong and theres been some serious rebuilding going on well worth the trek
• go 2 da coundon wedge trails near allesley if u fancy big air
