Record Shops
The last one - TW's - closed in summer 2005. For a good selection, I suggest buying online!
Nothing in Erith - your best bet is Bexleyheath. Or Bluewater.
Suprisingly, there is a record shop in Erith TW Records - one of the few shops still open. Has been there for donkeys years, but fairly up to datish - normally has the latest Now album in the window. Worth a browse if it's raining outside. HMV in Bexleyheath is better though.
tw records erith
Forget Erith - try Bluewater
Can't think of any decent shops at all!
there is a tw records in the town centre also this has been here for many years and has a wide range including dvd's vinyl and can order most things it has a very personal service and offers brilliant advice.
TW Records is still going strong in Erith - opposite the Market, just past Howells & Wilson. Actually, it's one of the few shops still open in Erith!
T.W Records is an excellent independent record/ CD shop that IS still open in the town centre.
Besides Woolworths only 1, but Woolworths is cheaper and there
is sometimes a pretty little blonde serving. I suppose it will
close down soon, just like the Co-Op was forced to. And like the
dry cleaners, greengrocers,gent's barber,etc.
Not a single one! think there used to be one in the town, but like the rest of the place has closed down!!!
Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
There is a club called extreme in the town centre. Descent size. is filling up more with the influx of residents in erith.
Club Xtreme, Ts - whatever they call it, they can't make it better. A total dive with too many sad weirdos and VERY young patrons. This place has been the pits for years and has yet to convince me that it will ever be anything else.
T's. Might have a fancy new name, but Pat Sharpe still used to DJ there.
club extreme .... yuk
The only club in Erith should have been condemned years ago - what a pit!
Club Extreme? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!
When it was 2001 it seemed a good place at the time.had a lot of fun there it seemed to be open every night! Club extreme does anyone go there?
does anyone know about the wardrobe on manor rd i used to dj there about 4 years ago the owners name was rob anybody know if the building is being used contact me craig@mickjaggercentre.fsnet.co.uk
1 club above the now closed Co-Op. Great big bald headed bouncers on the door.
I won't name it, but it was in the news when a young girl got murdered after
a visit.
Well theres Club Extreme, which used to be called Tee's, think they thought that a change of name would bring nicer people in!!! Think again!!!!!!!
Club extreme, but woulnd recommend it to my worst enemy! used to be called Tee's until something bad happened, and they thought that changing the places name would improve it!!!
Used to be called T's, now called something else.
Live Music Venues
A live band that plays in The Ship, West Street, every couple of months. Otherwise, twice-weekly cabaret here.
Used to have a few venues - now limited to an old grandad on his Yamaha organ in the pub if you're lucky.
Naff bands in some of the grim pubs. Stick to Greenwich.
Dodgy bar singers and crap karaoke - that's about it.
Venues? In Erith? Are you taking the P155?
only in near by bexleyheath! unless u fancy going to the Running Horses (pub) where, i dare say they have some band or other playing every now and then!
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide.
