• I heard that they are going to move the skateboard ramp into the Ritz down on the sea front
• The skate park that the town council placed near kingsland as a plot to remove the kids from the sight of people on holiday may be moved to a better place
• Well anywhere there is a flat piece of ground but mainly the mace and the harbour !! "sorry the marina !! pah!"

• Well, Market Street Car Park has got the space and a decent surface! But, by late spring 2001 there will be a purpose built space for boards & blades next to the refurbished Youth Centre. Enjoy!
• Back in the 70's when our skateboards were planks with 2" roller skate trucks on, Jee-zuss , the speed wobble, the wipeout,the smell of blood, we used to go down the footpath from St.Decuman's, across the top entrance to the paper mill and on down through the Church Fields.
• DON'T PARK YOUR CAR IN MARKET STREET CAR PARK! This is the official Watchet skateboard park.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
