• Jack's Legacy: Since I last posted about my band, we have added a new member to the line-up. The band is now: Ben Hunt: Guitars, Kate Saunders: Vocals, Matt Dooner: Bass, and Ste Rowley: Drums. We are planning to record some new material and we are doing some gigs around Dudley in the near future. • Jack's Legacy: A 3-piece rock outfit from Wombourne. Ben Hunt, Matt Dooner and Ste Rowley have spent the last year or so practicing in Wolverhampton and doing some fairly low-key gigs, usually the Jam Nite at the Broadway in Stourbridge. They have just finished recording their first demo at The Basement studio. Their music is a mixture of popular cover versions and their own material, which is still in it's early stages of developement but has a grungey feel to it. • My band formed at halesowen college.There are four of us - we mix emo,synth pop,punk,and indie.Our influences are very wide, from Greenday to Moby et al.Called Kerrys Emo Dream.I'm Kerry and I play sampler and lead guitar.We are all very busy but still try to gig when we can. Appreciate anyone comming to support us. Haven't got our latest venues sorted yet apart from the courthouse fairly soon.We'll post on all the listing sites when finalized.
• I mostly jam with the other students at Dudley Music Centre, Lawnsward Road, DY8 5PQ. It's great when you want to form a band cuz you get to meet players of all different instruments. My main band -In Flu En Zap - has 2 guitars (me on lead) bass, analogue synth, saxaphone, electric viola and drums. We play some school and local shows. Also been asdked to play at a big church gig that's coming up soon.
• My fave local band is Lazy J - they play JB's and other local venues. Cool rock band - bit like the Chilli's crossed with Reef. Saw a Cold Play tribute at the shed a week or 2 back- not my kind a' thing, but they were pretty tight.
• Am in a band called the Flaming Mosh Boards - No gigs till after xmas though!!

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
