The Best Things

• Cliff jumping, sounds crazy, but much fun!
• Situated on the north east edge of Cornwall, the inset village is well protected by high cliffs from the see, and a walk around the coast pays off well for those into the unusual finds type of walk. The views from the cliff over the sea are more than great.

The Worst Things

• Boscastle used to be a beautiful place. The flood of 2004 damaged it. In 2006/2007 the Environment Agency destroyed it. They may be able to compensate us for loss of earnings etc but how do they compensate the future genorations of locals and tourists who will never see the real Boscastle? The Boscastle destoyed by planners rebuilt in concrete.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
