Cringing Cult of Celebrity (Famous residents and ex-residents.)

• Richard and Judy HAVEN'T just sold their house to John Bowe from Corrie. They brought it from him, and it's in the neighbouring talland bay - about a ten minute walk along the cliff path. John Bowe used to own the house right in the centre of town, opposite bartletts and to the right of the wright's ice cream parlour and the car park. Not sure if he still does.
• Richard and Judy do not own a cottage in the village,but they do own a property not too far from Polperro and when I last saw them in the summer they had not sold it or intenteded too. Bruce Foxton(drummer,I beleive,with a 70's group The Jam) did own a cottage on the quay and when I spoke to him in the summer he told me he was selling up.So maybe it is his property that the coronation street(whatever that is)chappie has bought
• Richard and Judy have a cottage in Polperro but have just sold it to a ex Coronation Street actor (the one who was killed by being pushed over the banister recently)

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
