• The civic centre. What's the point of a building that houses staff that can't even supply homes for people that need them. Sorry..... soap-box moment!:)

The Best Things

• The Linden Hotel. All my mates hang there (Cos they live there.). It ain't the hell spawning hovel that some snot-nosed Kingswood residents would have you believe. The Collier. Best Pub In Town. Ask the Linden Booze Crew!!!!!

• plenty of gasheads, plenty of pubs, a few nice kebab houses.
• Kingswood Park
• Good variety of things to skate in Staple Hill and there's loads of cool skaters there too. Lamest thing has to be people in the square telling us to move from everwhere.

The Worst Things

• Lack of local live music venues (except the pubs). Nothing really big though:(
• There is quite a lot of unused space which could be turned into small skating areas or so,e more places to chill!
• few city fans about, chasers nightclub-shocking.
• Narrow pavements (sidewalks) Heavy traffic
• Warmley WAS a quite village until Wimpey and friends found our fields now it puts the M25 too shame.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
