Astley, Greater Manchester Hookup Spots and Stuff Only Locals Know

Hook-up Spots (That hallowed spot where everyone hangs around with their mates dreaming of the time when they can get into the pubs or clubs - a bench, a corner: you name it.)

• If your between 11 and 16 (which mean's you probably can't go clubbing) then you can goto the park, or 'shop-hang' around All-Days trying to get someone to go in and get you're beer. I think they have sorta clocked on now though when someone goes in and asks for 100 bottles of white lightning.
• AWREET MUCKERS?????????????? WHOSE SUPPED ALL THE WEET LEETNIN?????
• If your over 10 then meeting at Alldays is probabley no the best idea. Likewise most places round Astley that were scally infested seemed to have been sorted out so that they now tend to flock towards tyldesley cos at least theres an offie up there.

• You can find groups of people where there aren't main roads or cctv cameras nearby... that's about it. Alldays is a favourite for the younger shaven headed violent types amongst us. Warning! Only approach if there isnt a bottle of cider in sight.
• In Astley everyone hangs around on the car park near All Days with their bottles of "White Lightning". If you cant find who you are looking for there then try the park near Texaco.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
