The White Horse / Pegasus Night Club - Now been refurbished and looking quite smart (well, lets face it, it couldn't of got any worse!!) Now a fiver to get in on Friday & Saturday nights but they sometimes throw your first drink in for free - If you haven't been to check out the new decor it is worth a peek.

The White Horse Hotel - Most Thursday nights is band night, you will have to check the boards outside the pub for actual dates and whos playing - they haven't had a bad band yet. Even Wincanton band Cart'l play the odd gig there. The White Horse would be even better if they finally got rid of Karaoke!
some kareoke and some live bands occasionally. Also occasional Am. Operatics at Memorial Hall/School
White Horse
Bear
Live music / Karaoke at most Town Pubs on a regular basis
Cinemas
Haha, cinema got turned into a church like 10years ago! Lol! Gotta go to yeovil now days!
The cinema WAS cool. I spent many Saturdays there watching such delights as 'War Games'. Then it was a bingo hall. Now its a happy-clappy church
haven't got one got to travel miles to see a film
There used to be one. Wincanton can claim that the old cinema is not a trendy Wine Bar, but a Community Church!
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.
