Dilraj Indian Restaurant. Good food, bit pricey, brilliant floor show as Dulal (the owner) smarms compulsively.
Sells Tiger beer.

We haven't got many take aways here, but we can boast a great Chineese take away, Chineese resturant and Indian.
The spinning wheel, need I say more, this place rocks.
The Llanerch Inn best pub in llandod for a bit of grub I should know used to work there.
Chinki, lovely jubbly
Takeaway area in middle of town has middle chippy, balti and chinky - All pretty good,
The Bakehouse used to serve us cakes at 2am after the pivi...
Middle chippy and the Chinese in Middleton street is ok.
"The Herb Garden " - a wonderful vegetarian restaurant. Not open in the evenings but does have monthly "Theme" evenings.
Wild Thing Walker ate the whole Elephant pizza at Frankies and won a bottle of beer!
What about the Spinning Wheel cafe right next to Gateway? Jacket potato with cheese and pineapple but you've got to really smother it with salad cream, great coffees and the oddest assortment of customers that you can stare at.
Candyman Sweetshop, Spa Road
Pubs
The Laughing Dog at Howey. This used to be called the Bridge End, it's a good 'local' nothing exciting just good beer, good food and good company. Their web site is http:/www.thelaughing.ukpub.net
hampton can be ok
The Llanerch is a real pub with real ale and pretty good food. Much older than the town it serves. Careful though, it's next to the police station.
No pub in Llandrindod ever serves minors, lots of them serve very young looking people, but thats just 'cos in llandrindod the air is so clean that they are all very fresh faced.
all the pubs are cool, some better than others...if you like crowed places and pulling random people go to the Hampton..i went once and was very sceard...never agine!
The Hampton, The Llanarch, The Midleton, er um The Log and Frankies thats about it there may be some more but there worse than these!!
if you ever visit llandrindod Wells then i advise you go to FRANKY`s- one of the smallest pubs but one of the best
Back bar off the Rigebourne is a good place to go if you've got a spare hangranade!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scampton also known as hampton, scabbiest pub I have ever been in. Full of the towns rejects, expect a rumble or two or five!!!!
The Bridge in Howey used to be tidy now it's just a youth club where twatty kids like Daniel Macroy hang out.
The ridgebourne is good.....when its closed!!!

Llanerch is my favourite for a quite pint.
Good place to look for Foxy
Don't forget Friday night is disco night at the Hampton where you'll find all the trendiest townspeople...
The Middleton Pub is worth a visit (say hello to Chris the landlord).
The Mostyn WAS the best pub but closed down. Go to The Llanerch instead.
Cafes and Coffee Shops
the spinny is the best!
I believe that a 'dutch style' cafe may be opening soon.
The spinning wheel is a good cafe..food alright and you be sure to meet some intresting people!
Bites
(but it stinks!)
any and every where - Spinning wheel, fake (bake) shop, one in the main street, and baby chip/cafe shop
There's a great coffe shop / resturant, over looking the victorian lake, which serves a mean Sunday dinner.
The Bake House. Does lello ever leave.
Spinning Wheeel, what a class cafe!!!!!!
Spinning Wheel - nice coffee if nothing else
Spinning wheel, this place is a great place if you want a good laugh.
