Skateboarding Spots

• The ramp, obviously. It used to have a dilapidated yellow sofa hanging around it but that's disappeared... sigh.

• there's a new one up by the lake, hopefully it'll be graffitied soon
• NEW SKATEBOARD HALF PIPE, CHECK IT OUT
• Skateboarding - by the bandstand in the middle of town, behind the hospital, by the lake, on the new ramp (whenever it gets here!!!), that sorta thing. Trials riding - by the bandstand, by Somerfield, the hospital, county hall, the school...if you want to know more, ask here! BMXing - same locales as the trials riding thing above... Blading - get a life, do something else you losers!
• theirs a sorta ramp thing by the park, and some kids grind on benches?
• the Half pipe, and the car park next to the half pipe for grinding and pissing about!
• well first thing there aint no ramp (park) like the one mentioned at the top thats stupid but there is the 4 foot mini ramp which sucks and is fallin apart and has hurt many ppl !!!! (HINT council by us a new one HINT)
• Ahem, that place was destroyed years ago, now there's a crappy ramp and that's it!
• This is the place with a ramp under a stage. 12' wide spine one side has 6' transitions, one side has 8' transitions. 4' wide by 4' high tombstone and wall ride area on the opposite (6' transition) side. Run by a youth club and open youth-club-type hours. There's also going to be a charge, to cover the cost of materials. Call Tim Wilkinson for details 0597 824595. Also Rareunit Ramp 4' high, 12' wide, near "The Lakeside" in Llandrindod Wells.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
