• Portswood cycles has some good bikes and parts! bitterne triangle cycles unfortunatley closed, was the best shop in the WORLD! GOD BLESS TRIANGLE CYCLES!
• Pijin is located in the Bargate Centre and is the only shop in the area which is 100% BMX!
• Offbeat Sportz, will try and get you everything you want. hargroves cycles in millbrook can get pretty much whatever you ask for but you may have to wait just under a week before it comes in.
• Petrol - All round Bevois Valley! Bike - portswood HIgh Street by Pizza Hut!
• Go to Shirley on your way to Fret Music, Solent Cycles are young, involved in downhill/extreme and trail and know their stuff and have a good range
• there are loads of push-bike shops. the one i use is portswood cycles cuz its close but a quick ride around town will bring you to one somewhere no worries.
• Portswood Bikes
• Plenty - a big cluster of motorbike/accessory shops in Beavois Valley and the Honda and Harley shops down by the docks.
• bmx's and cruiser for sail in off beat
• Harley Davidson off of Millbrook roundabout is well known and well respected.
• Lots of (petrol) bike shops in Beavois Valley. Bikers pub there too: the Albion. Not recommend to bikers under 50.

BMX Trails, Street Spots

• civic centre stairs, bbc centre stairs, huhe double set with ledges outside the big hsbc buildin just round corner from train station
• take the southampton to winchester path if your into mountain biking or check out my back garden to practice your tricks!
• marchwood had some trails but they got ploughed but the locals are currently rebuilding them. Totton skate park is currently in the middle of getting some trails with help of the council which are gonna be situated on the big field behind the toilets. they're gonna be huge!!

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
