• 4playrockband.com great covers band. play everything from Kaiser cheifs, to acdc and guns & roses, people always end up dancing at a fourplay gig, they even do weddings and birthday parties. www.theglamgodz.co.uk The glam gods as the name suggests is a great glam rock band. wearing the full gear they will transport you back to the dayz of your youth (that's if you're over 30!!) if not just let your hair down and party.
• York boasts some fantastic bands from the mellow lounge System 7 style of Lowground, the soul/Jazz style of Nina Zagorski, through to art rockers AKP, epic stadium rock of Idle Jack and the Big Sleep and the huge metal noise of RSJ and Final Sigh. A more traditional rock band with more of the american rock, zz top, lynard skynard, etc The band is made up of 2 brits and 2 americans so gigs tend to be in blocks

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
