Clothes Shops, Shoe Shops, Fashion and Bargains
Blue Jeans - fabulous Caterpillar boots, Diesel bags, original, one-off designer gear. Great staff too, really help you to spend your money!
for the best in clothing try Peacocks they have everything give them atry you will be fool if you don't
Peacocks is the best
Definately The Blue Jeans shop. Sells wicked clothes at bargain prices (compared 2 similar shops in swansea + cardiff). ZICCO is wicked to if you hav any money! But nice to brouse in and the clothes r worth waiting for when they go in the sale.
the best clothes shops hav got 2b blue jeans and i cnt memba the name 2da ova 1.its like the factory shop in milford and if i memba rightly its oppisite shoe discount zone.
Zicco designer shop is the best! The prices are wicked for that type of expensive gear. If you've got great taste then definately go there. The manager is a laugh and knows his stuff. Definately get down there
Rayers and Fosters have both disappeared!
Try the Rainbow Room in Dew Street (top of town) - well worth a visit for all things 'fun & funky'!
The best place to buy clothing in Haverfordwest has to be Knoxx.. They are friendly have had a great selection of quality clothing..
Can't beat Blue Jeans as top of High Street - fantastic! Pricey but well worth every penny you spend on Miss Sixty, PASH, Killah Babe etc.
good old oxfam and paul satories where all there girls from stp buy all there fashionable clothes! stinking bi**hes ellie worsley, catherine ashton, becky goslin, gemma james, jayne parsons!
What was the name of that kiddies clothes shop that used to be in Bridge Street years ago? It had what looked like 1930's scary bakelite boy and girl mannequins with with equally scary moulded bakelite hair. They used to sell gymslips and white knee length pex socks with holey patterns in that marked your legs, (the owners did, not the mannequins), and the woman who worked there never shut up once. It was kiddie purgatory every late August. Even my dignified mother had to have a fag when she came out of there. (Think Hyacinth Bucket having a desperate drag) Am I imagining it , or did it have one of those pedastle-based collection boxes for spastics outside on the pavement? I'm talking early 1970's here. Christ, I'm 34 next week.
I work during the day in Peacocks, and we cater for all sizes and ages, which tells me that Peacocks is a pretty dam good shop!!!!!!!!!
Select sucks!
Zicco is the best shop in town if you are able to take out a bank loan to purchase a new pair of socks...Also if you like being ripped off then definetly shop there. He'll charm ya, love ya and fucking con ya. i once went in to buy a t~shirt and had to call in pickfords removals to take my shopping home.. he just wouldn't let me out.
county sports, the ultimate sports shop. and the cute boy with the spikes used to work there
your kidding right?!?!? go to swanswea
Blue Jeans High Street unbelievable. Bought Miss Sixty kit in London, bees knees and saw the same stuff here. What's happening? Haverfordwest is catching up!
Burtons (seeing as they were nice enough to give me one of their cards :-) )
We're all naked. Clothes shopa are few and far between. Anything remotely trendy or with a label only from Blue Jeans
Non-existant. Open some decent shops Haverfordwest!! even the chain stores don't want anything to do with the place. How do you expect to move into the 21st Century with the choice in town!!
D2 Jeans, Knoxx, Ciro Citerio, that's about it. I suppose New look and DP are there for the teenie bopping, ever so comercial, youthfull sh*g-haggs who tend to go to such s**t holes as RJ's
Don't bother with County Clothes for clothes, it's way expensive, good for other gifts as well. Apart from that there's only your usual (for a rural area) assortment of tenny boopper places like New Look.
Got to be Knoxx if you want a sense of at least a bit of individuality
Buy from the net, its safer and you won't look like a catalogue kid, like all the sados in h'west.
Ciro Critterio, Fosters, London Jean Co. Good choice of decent clothes. Lot of cheap clothes shops as well dotted about!
There used to be a funky clothes shop on the riverside, the girl who worked there was a real sexy goth.
Ahhh - Not in Haverfordwest - Go to Swanswa, it only takes an hour if you put your foot down and its well worth it...
Blue Jeans High Street Haverfordwest

go to Cardiff, or else Swansea
Arts, crafts and such (Anything from pukka art galleries to craft shops. Trendy and twee both welcome.)
Emry's Art Supplies - awesome place to go for all ya art stuff! :D
I think Emrys art supplies, handily placed halfway down a hill on a highstreet, is a really good art shop. its got most things, MIGHT be a bit pokey, might be, but its got nice people behind the desk, willing to help and wrap up purchases without haste or boredom, and cardboard and paint and books on paint and canvases and material and rubbers and things. quite handy, bar the hill bit.
lots of nice little craft shops,i take "welsh gifts" back 2uni mates,im sure they appreciate them lol.
At the top of town, opposite the library, forget the name, a bright orange ethnic shop full of hippy clothes, candle making kits, arty and funky
The Rainbow Room in Dew Street (top of town) is full of interesting bits and pieces - well worth the walk!
I got ripped off in moon and sixpence ( should be ten pence!)
the emlry art supplies is an amazing arty shop but v. expensive
The paintpot is a wicked craft shop, lots of fun stuff. Also try cheap stationary shop, Sett. Emrys art supplies has a very small gallery above it, with rather hinky pics in it.
"The Moon and Sixpence" is the best shop in the whole world. Make sure you visit it!!!!!
County Clothes. Creation. Moon and Sixpence, can be expensive but a good range.
This and That, 85 Portfield - Second hand furniture, bric a brac, antiques, arts and crafts 01437 763390
Burgess gift shop sometimes holds excellant local artists exhibitions
plenty of rolling, hotknifing & bonging
The Moon and Sixpence, a very well stocked shop full of birthday pressie type stock.
The Riverside market is quite good for that sort of stuff!!
The town is built a round a castle, which has a history museum. The castle gives character to the town.

A wide range of comics can be picked up in Creation(Quay street). It sells stuff that mainstream shops like WH Smith won't. They also sell yesterdays paper off cheap.
LONDIS - Has everything from confectionary, magazines, bakery and an awesome video rental service since it was revamped over the summer. You can now even rent DVD's there!
