and also theres...urgh i cant remember the name but its oppostie Hoopers at the bottom of mount pleasant. thats pretty good and sells basically everything.
Underground sounds
There's a good store up on Grosvenor hill, opposite the former Litten Tree... Abbey Music maybe? I can't remember?!
JB's near Albion Road
Abbey Records and Underground Sounds
Brittens, formerly The Music Center, formerly something else. It changes from day today. It's pretty expensive there though. There's the guitar shop opposite The Litten Tree, and if you're really desparate, go to Argos.
JB's is da best!!!!!! dwn the very end of Camden Road, but it sells well gd stuff for cheap prices, and if u ask they normally nock the price dwn!
Abbey
Abbey Music - excellent staff ! (Avoid JB's on the outskirts)
Too expensive, try Sevenoaks
there are a few but, the only good one i know of is on the way to the skate park from town. dont know where exactly but its alright in there
Fatty Birch's JB Music emporium up off Camden Road
brittons, used to be newingtons- up the street on the corner of hoopers. sevenoaks is good too, and there's a shop on your way down to town from st john's road that sells wicked electric guitars.
Jbs music has a huge selection of musical equipment.Everything available here from a basic studio set up right through to a full set up for rock band including mullet wigs.
There's a really good instrument shop oposite the Litten Tree and the guy in the shop is really nica and helpful.
not 100% sure but they have a few for decks and stuff
There used to be a music shop opposite Hoopers but it might have disappeared. Brighton is always good for that kind of thing and not too far to go either.
Brittens Music, near the railway station are a good shop for most things. They sell keyboards, guitars, cds, and everything!
ABBEY MUSIC!!!! yay 4 electric guitars!!
There's a load down Mount Pleasant. Electric Guitars... what's that a GRAND PIANO? Oh yes and that big shop at 5 ways opposite the rail station (next to the kebab shop).
Abbey Music: we keep this place in business by buying plectrums! Its plectrum heaven! Imports, colours, sizes everything! Oh and they sell nice guitars too.
Jb's surround sounds
down bottom of hill just after hoopers or the one on mount pleasant
JBs! Go down Camden Road and basically keep going for a while. Otherwise go to Beat 'n' Track in Tonbridge.
Newingtons??
Underground sounds.
Jailhouse rock has loadsa cool stuff
Who cares but if u must Abbey Music
There are loads, but newingtons (i think that's it) is probably the biggest, and people often play the piano in there which is very nice. NOT that i go in there of course..
JB's which is a 10 minute walk out of town towards High Brooms on St. James Road a quite good with a selection of guitars, bass',drums & percussion, PA gear, effects, mics, leads, PC/MAC software as well as Decks, mixers, headphones, replacement styli/cartridges, lighting and it also carries out some repair work.
JB's
Decent Guitars from Abbey Music, opposite the Rose and Crown pub, Grosvenor Road, but, erm, more miserable staff. Anal, I think is the word.
