Clubs (Dance Music) and Music Bars
the bistro is the closets that we have to a club, and that aint that impressive.
None, except the COM (community centre) which is full of underage kids and the FMC charity discos which are also full of kids. Best clubs etc. go to Norwich.
All sorts but no night clubs apart from the noisy pub.
Live Music Venues
Once more. Ha. Maybe, at a push you could include The Crown and the Limes.
Don't underestimate the Limes as it provides you with at least information on where the parties are. Bands on the whole are pretty lame but the landlord is enough entertainment to keep you amused. Hank Marvin lookilikee!
Discos and C&W in pubs at various times. Heavier stuff in the Church occasionally.
Cinemas
Hollywood Screen Cinema, Market Place, Fakenham.
A lovely little cinema with three screens.
There is a cinema in Fakenham believe it or not. Also there's a reduced price for all under 18s which is an added bonus. However it takes a while for all the good films to get shown.
OOOOOOOOOHHHH Holywood cinema the JOY!!!
The Cinema has now re-opened but is expensive. Been open bout a year and there is talk of shutting it as no one goes. But everyone moaned when it was shut, jeez!!!
The old corn exchange has reopened as a cinema. I haven't been, but I understand it's quite good, and has the latest releases.
Seeing as I spend most of my time there already, I'm not sure how to answer those questions!
If this most excellent website would like to be included in the "What's on at the Hollywood Cinema, Fakenham" mailing list please send me an email and I shall include you in the weekly send. Many Thanks - Tony Miles (Manager of the Hollywood in Fakenham!
The Central has re-opened after being closed since 1976 by the same person that owns the one in Dereham, By all accounts he has spent a considerable sum in doing the old place up and it now has two screens with the possibility that a third will be added in the future check out the web page for details http://www.hollywoodcinemas.net/pages/fakenham.html
The residents satisfy themselves with drawing things on the corners of books and flicking the pages very quickly.
My big TV at West Raynham is about as exciting as it gets. Even got Sky.
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.

(But please remember you're not mailing the person who actually wrote whatever-it-is.)

Or, if you'd just like to leave a message for other users of this site, take a look at The Knowhere Board (handy if you're just trying to get in touch with someone).
