  • Oooo, has to be the park by Spar in Brackla. Many a schoolnight in my childhood was spent setting fire to things and drinking flagons of cider there. Ah, the memories....
  • um years ago it used to be the mon, outside jaggers. the so called townies, drinking flaggons of white lightening, or doing laps around town. jill was the leader, you were cool it she liked you. god help if she didn't. anyway apparently she is a lesbian now. all for their own i say. what ever makes them happy. these days the car parks in town turn into skaters heaven after 6 o'clock. full of little boys with trousers too big for them, and the wanna be girl friends, o bless!!
  • The best hook up spot for any girl out there who wants an easy shag has got to be bowlers on a saturday night. Outside at 2.30am. Goes by the name of Adrian D. Whatever your age, however you look just smile and your in. Just make sure there is no one else in his bed before you jump in!!!

  • Around the back of the SPAR on Ewenny rd.Many a Flagon of carbon white and pack of dorchester king size can be found tossed aside in this alley of love.
  • Everybody who visits Bridgend please do not be intimidated by young "townies" ,basically youths who have been draged up through a hedge backwards, for they are all mouth and full of the proverbial dog dung.
  • SQI's garage is the best place to hang, with old marion serving refreshments in skimpy clothing!

  • The monument- drinking flagon of White Lightenning is compulsary
  • Car park near recreation centre.
  • They also hangout oppposite Bowlers or by any monument
  • * You could hang around up at Pines, which was suppose to be a great thing which was being added to Bridgend, but it has proved not to be.....the only good thing it has proven is the cinema which is being opened on my Birthday *hint, hint* also a Mcdonalds! *ummmm apart from the clubs there isnt many other places...i would seriously avoid if your not a townie....eg, sitting on a street corner in your tracksuit bottoms and a bottel of cider.... *Oh yea.the Rec. *shrug*

What is Knowhere?

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!

If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.

Have Your Say...

The Knowhere Guide depends entirely on real users for information. Please feel free to join in.

You can tell us more about Bridgend. This is also the method to use if you want to correct some of the information already here. (But please remember you're not mailing the person who actually wrote whatever-it-is.)

You can use the add an event form to tell us about events happening in Bridgend.

If you are unhappy with any of the content on this page, turn on the flags.

Or, if you'd just like to leave a message for other users of this site, take a look at The Knowhere Board (handy if you're just trying to get in touch with someone).
