Skateboarding Spots

• Harrow skatepark, a rad old 70's park with a halfpipe, bowl, banks, etc. It's just behind the leisure centre, and a short walk from Harrow Weald Station. Some of the safest skaters ever, and now pikie free!!! www.harrowskatepark.co.uk
• dont forget stockwell park nearest tube brixton not stockwell awsome bowls and new rail and resurfaced about two months ago no cracks anymore

• Barbican, outside farringdon station. There are so many little banks and benches but you get chased a lot by the guards. It's worth a visit if you don't get caught.
• Trafalgar square
• canary wharf has stuff every where it is a total bust but it is quite worth it Bring some wax because alot of things dont slide if the security are after u go in da shops. if you have time go to Romford skatepark. it is 5£ to get in there are so many bowls halfpipes and street stuff iz scattered. it is a fair walk from elm park station z6 in side the car thingy u cant see it but u will when u go in there. it also az a tiny shop. London has it all
• BAY 66.........Old playstation park. It is damn good. Too many bladder's sitting around on the things you want to grind or snaking you with their butts hanging out of their pants and the burger bar stinks out the place but it's easy to get to, cheap to skate and it's really well made. PLus if you're really lucky some bladder will stack it good whilst you're there and knock his little 'rambo' headband off and have to be carried away on a stretcher- which let's face it makes life worth living...........Too much stuff there to go into, suffice to say it's got something for everyone and some weird little things to which makes a change from the normal boring driveway/quarter/mini/rail/flatbank type parks you get used to. NOT TO BE MISSED.
• city and islington and clerkenwell police ARE making arrests, siting criminal damage as the hook. Hang loose, it makes slam city look a breeze. kna wot a meen
• theres a sick spot in moorgate its called london wall car park theres loads of little ledges the security guards dont bother you theres a grind box there(if its still there!!!)lots of raised parts perfect 4 flips and shit like that. just outside liverpool street theres some steps 3 4 5 6 sets just round the corner theres a nice little marble ledge WATCH OUT 4 THE SERCURITY GUARDS THEY ARE TOTAL WANKAS!!!!!! • South bank(obviously) if u go across the bridge then theres a grea 1 2 3 4 set thats is cool, up by trafalgar theres some cool ledges up by the gallery. thens theres a big 5 and 3 set just round the corner, the securitys tight so just try to stay hidden and act innocent if any come by , then keep skating when they go. theres loads tiny 3 sets to flip down right by charring cross. theres a 5 set near subway. next 2 embankment theres a little parc with lots of little sets (3 and 4 sets mainly) keep skating dudes
• SOUTH BANK SOUTH BANK SOUTH BANK..... All the areas around and under the Royal Festival Hall and National Film Theatre. There's some great benches and rails round there, and if you pick your time well, hardly any cops. However, take care skating on or around the modern art right outside the RFH... the security guards tend not to be overly impressed when you 50-50 their nice sculptures... ;-)
• dont skate st pauls my mate almost got arrested there. luvly spot but a big risk
• The best spots in london are shell centre, south bank, saint pauls and there are some very nice banks just down the road from south bank. On the way up to saint paul's is a fitness club a very nice four and some ledges.
• You've really got to get just south of the river over Hungerford footbridge from Charring Cross Station - plenty of space on the lower levels around there.
• Trafalgar square!
• meanwhile gardens skate bowl....nice locals too if they let you know them (unlikely if you brought your rollerblades to have a whirl). south bank under royal festival hall is covered and security free. playstation skatepark is a rip off but somewhere to go when it's raining (under the westway by ladbroke grove). st. paul's steps...watch out for police horses! meanwhile 2...under the westway and old school style type place.

• Halfpipe in West london. It's down the road from Bay66 and it has an awesome selection of skate gear. The staff are pretty rad aswell.
• definitely slam city skates it a good independent store but it iz hard to find really. sadly they shut all route one stores in london. oh and theyve got rid of skate of mind too

• The two best sk8 shops in london are Cide next too waterloo station and slam city in covent gardens

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
