Penn Place
Rickmansworth Conservative Club
The Best Things
Easy access to all major roads - M1, M25 A40. Lots of different restaurants to choose from - pasta, Indian, Chinese, Thai, Spanish, Greek, Italian in the town and several nearby which are excellent )especially the Sujoy indian in Chorleywood
The Aquadrome, a great place for everyone to spend their time, espcially for famiilies with young children.
London 20-30 minutes away - fantastic!
The Bury.The Chess river.
Community Spirit !
Easy access to everywhere... motorways, underground, airports!
ummmm. get back to you... oh yeah, the indian restaraunt
Visitors from Croxley Green
PUBS....the women at lunch time...such a small place yet SO many women!!
Close enough to London, but far enough away to have its own identity. You always go into the High Street and meet people you know.
The aquadrome
The Worst Things
Parking in the High Street. The mess while Barratts are still developing their rabbit hutches otherwise known as appartments
Due to the new apartments being built in the high street, it has rather limited the parking spaces originally available. It seems now to be a bit 'stressful', knowing whether your going to get parked or not now, especially if you have an aappointment.
That you are guranteed to get soaking wet in a torrential downpour every Friday night
Its becoming a must see on the antipodian students round the world skive.
Too few decent restaurants other than Indian and Chinese.
skids!!!!!
It's getting too popular - all the remaining bits of green space are being built on. Plus, the house prices rival Mayfair and Knightsbridge.
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.
