  • Charity Shops are decent, you find some good items in there if you look. if not then H&M in Nottingham is the closest H&M that has mens clothes after Leicesters selection decreased and died.
  • The market init man wicked
  • Well we have the teenage trashy New Look and Tammy Girl, and cheapo Primark, QS, Littlewoods etc. Go to Nottingham/ Leicester for anything decent. ONE GOOD SHOP IN LOUGHBOROUGH IS FRENCH CONNECTION- does anyone even know where it is?
  • rebel
  • theres rebel on main street, never been in there though?
  • Irish is great shop for skaters but they have them everywere. A new shop called Pink has just opened it's has got good clothes and they're at a good price.
  • for blokes stuff lboro isnt too bad there is a next for the sensible clothes wearer, a couple of designer shops whish sell disel& levis and arent too expensive.

  • None, fashion does not exist in L'boro, unless u buy off the market! o dear!
  • This is where Loughbrough has a problem!! There's some okay ones, but we need more!! The Rushes will hopefully bring some more (when it opens - if ever!!)
  • we need more clothes shops. The only good ones are denium designs, next and new look for girls and us girls need more of a varity.
  • Masquerade fancy dress shop up near the bingo hall has loads of costumes and gives 10% nus discount.
  • new look
  • Loughborough is absolutley crap for shopping - don't bother - go to Leicester or Nottingham instead.
  • there is NO decent clothes shops in Loughborough! however there is new look if u want cheep crap, and i guess NEXT is ok. but thats as good as it gets!
  • NEW LOOK! um, that's about it!!! there's a fairly decent skate and surf wear shop in the rushes.
  • Irish and the rush are the only shops in Loughborough which sell skater makes
  • Well lets see, we could go in Tammy girl and see two faced bitchy models like erm ,,,,, Amy fucking Leong. yeah great!!!!
  • There are hardly any decent clothes shops if ur looking for girls but for young people the best youve got is either newlook or etams but they aren't that great we really could do with a miss selfridge or topshop. for older people yuo've got the choice of dorothy perkins, etams, next and thats about it stupid really. if your looking for a really good shopping day then don't come to loughbrough seriously take my advice!
  • Loughborough is CRAP. there is only 3 shops, new look, next and dorothy perkins and they are all crap!!!!!!!! when will loughborough get some decent shops!!!??!?!?!?!??! i think the answer is never.
  • Sweet F.A, can't decide where the sock man statue got his sock from. Irish menswear is about as good as it gets, but if you dont like being stalked by heavily paranoid and arsey shop assisstants with to much Lynx bodyspray which makes you gag, don't bother. If youre not loaded as well, dont bother. Oh, and if youre a girl over a size 6, dont bother. Basically, dont bother. Go to Nottingham.

  • ha ha ha, you have to be joking. Loughborough's idea of art is a £20k statue of a bald man putting on a sock!
  • Sun Emporium for all your lava lamp type stuff. Purchased a handy thirst aid hat, the pinnacle of many nights out in Loughborough cept im always the one who ends up carrying it home. Good range of hairdye's as well, all colours. Make sure you find out when delivery day is as stocks seem to get rampaged pretty quickly by Loughboroughs rainbow heads.

What is Knowhere?

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!

If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.

If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.

Have Your Say...

The Knowhere Guide depends entirely on real users for information. Please feel free to join in.

You can tell us more about Loughborough. This is also the method to use if you want to correct some of the information already here. (But please remember you're not mailing the person who actually wrote whatever-it-is.)

You can use the add an event form to tell us about events happening in Loughborough.

Or, if you'd just like to leave a message for other users of this site, take a look at The Knowhere Board (handy if you're just trying to get in touch with someone).
