• Now where could you possibly find anything to do with sports in Loughborough? Hmmmmmm...? How bout the university? This is Loughborough for crying out loud, home to many athletes and sports personalities!
• Loughborough leisure Centre on Browns Lane otherwise join the Uni
• crap crap carp you either got to be anerexic or obesse! primark is ok cheap and chearfull but you tend to find that if you bye anything from there within a week half loughborough is wearing it as well!!
• The Charnwood leisure Centre has a couple of decent pools and a gym, but for a decent leisure pool (slides and whatnot) you need to go to Nottingham.
• its a sports uni its swarmin in the healthy stuff
• Carillion hockey club.
• considering lough is basically a sport uni...stuff open 2 the public isnt great. the council funded the unis new centre on the promise it wud be open 2 the public...guess what it's not. lough leisure centre is ridiculously overpriced and full of sleaze.
• Loughborough Dymamo Forever!
• watch us jolly high school attenders play hockey in our jolly gymn skirts
• john skillens martial arts and fitness centre.this is the only one in the area and is run by john skillen .i read about this guy on the geoff thompson web site and he is awsome.hes got more martial arts certs than anyone ive ever heard of ,so i went to the gym to see what it was like.this guy is the nicest person i have ever met and so where all the people at this gym,i even joined..definetly one of the hardest men in the country but one of the nicest .a true loughborough legend.....
• Jon Jepson's black belt school is good for children from 3 to 18 and is good for adults as well. The lesiure centre's swimming pool is a bit grotty but is very good and moderen.
• LELA Shotokan train at Burleigh Community college, Trraditional Shotokan Karate.
• Wu-tan at Limehurst school rules. Expert teacher for all ages.
• loughborough is all about sport sadly i only like watching it on the tv
• Loughborough Town Hockey Club (www.loughboroughhockeyclub.co.uk). If you're coming to (or already in) Loughborough and want to play hockey we offer a good standard of hockey (and a great social side)with 6 mens league teams and a ladies section being set up for next season (2004-2005). We also have an upcoming youth section. All home games are played at the university with the 1st and 2nd XI both playing on the international standard waterbased.
• The Leisure Centre Gym is great, me and my m8s go there most nights to hang out and push weights and the staff are very friendley and good facilitys.
• Too much. Way too much. Staggering home from the pub at 2am as people jog past you throwing balls around is crazy. Stop it!
• up the leisure centre for roller skatin n pervin (bak in the day of course)

• the amazing Paula Ratcliff is from Loughborough!!! She also trains at Loughborough University along with Steve Backly! Paula also won the award for Best Sports Personality this year!!!! Agood boost for the university in the sports department thingy!!!!!
