• the good places to get away from parents are the woods the bech and the show bar
• Reading this I am amazed any one leaves. But it is a filthy town full of young slappers flashing fannies, getting pissed on cheap plonk, pissing in doorways, shagging in the street. F*ck I miss that town!
• The crappy incompetent police who are just as racist as everyone else in this town, albeit a bit better since the Stephen Lawrence thang.LH
• Grimsby Road - Famous for the February Shooting, where innocent passers by were shot in the bum by residents above the Pizza takeaway. They did it as a joke, harmless fun, but where arrested by Armed police!!!!!
• Pier 39 is NOT reccomended the best place for a shagg when you are totally pissed in the early hours of the morning !
• Yahoo! club for the area - http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/grimsbycleethorpesandarea covers Grimsby, Cleethorpes and the surrounding times such as Immingham, Tetney, Waltham and Humberston
• well cleethorpes is full of alcholics, druggys, tarts ,slappers, and stupid wankers.
• Best school has to be the Lindsey School. Best primary school is Signhills.
• Cleethorpes is great some people say they choose it over the bahamas (i wouldnt personnally ) but i think its great all the same most of the time anyway..
• GOOD GAMES TO PLAY Pull the pig - Who can pull the ugliest bird or bloke ( Money to the winner ) Collecting flavoured condoms ( who can get the most and the best range of flavours ) Look out for the KANGEROO flavour! Nick the ashtray - who can get the most ashtrays in one night! Pinch the garden ornaments! BEST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR BIRD OR BLOKE ONCE YOUVE PULLED ! Down an alley Under the pier ( Or just on the beach ) If you dare in the pier To a B+B In the numerous gardens dotted around the seafrount. Top of ross castle In any pub or club toilet
• Offshore is really a cool shop, ask for Gra - he rips!
• Pleasure Island theme park, Deep Sea Experience (fish etc), Discovery Centre (nature)
• [Anyway:] Do the Smiths Bakeries still exist in Cleethorpes? I lived in Cleethorpes until I was 18 and it wasn't as bad as all that...it had a wicked art scene (The Midget Submarines Art Co-operative), the best fucking fish and chips ever (The County), a pub called Darley's where Flaco Jimenez played, a bloke who had his eye in a bag and a really cute girl called Boris. the smell? That was more conceptual than olfactory and Havelock was, truly, a rough school. Matthew Humberstone rules... fuck it, I'm moving back.
• [Meanwhile] For all you mountain bikers I feel obliged to point out that Cleethorpes presents you with a great opportunity to harden up some of the more essential parts of you anatomy before you get on a bike! I know some of the top riders consider a couple of hours riding bare-ass up and down the beach on a donkey an essential part of pre-race prep. So go to it.
• [But:] I'd just like to say how expensive and over rated 'Off Shore' bikes are!!!!
• After living in Cleethorpes for 18 year now, I'd like to point out that there is a really good shop for all you mountain bike freaks out there. Visit "Off Shore" on the sea front!!!!!!!!!!
