• There is len stiles in Lewisham, cash converters too...;-( but there are junk / collectible shops in Greenwich.
• Music Room @ musicroom.web.com has a music shop in New Cross Gate within its premises at The Old Library 116-118 New Cross Road London SE14 5BA. 020 7252 8271. Music Room also operates five rehearsal studios and has made New Cross its base since 1985. Music Room support live music, the Amersham Arms is one of two local live music venues in New Cross we help support it - Music Room does have its signs on the outside the building of the Amersham but we are a bit further down the road away from Goldsmiths College. Music City are former neighbours moved to Tanners Hill Deptford in December 2003.

• yeah music city used to be there but moved, its still somewhere in new cross but unfortunatly im not too sure where.

• Lots of rehearsal space at the two Music city sites, one next door to the Amersham Arms and the other near the Barclays. Can get very busy due to high volume of local musicans so bookings need to be about two weeks in advance.

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
