Computer and Games Shops
Gamestation in Arundel - very cool guys, fantastic selection of games at great prices, good for used. For the true gamers.
Ross Records - Kington Road - Portsmouth's oldest established and perhaps biggest used games shop. (and CDs and DVDs)
Enigmazone
The best and cheapest place in portsmouth to make sure your PC is running the best way it can. Complete PC health checks to ensure your PC is fully uptodate, protected from all forms of virii, spy ware, and hackers. Installation of hardware or software, upgrade advice, PC Building, repairs.
www.enigmazone.co.uk is the place to look. You wont find anywhere cheaper, more reliable and dedicated to PC's as I am at Enigma Zone.
A typical top of the range PC could cost you over £1000 from a retail outlet. I would sit down, consult your needs, then custom build a PC to suite your demands. You would save at least £200 and get exactly what you want. Try www.enigmazone.co.uk today.

LAN Parties, Tournaments, LAN Game Cafes, WiFi Meets, PSP/DS Meets
Cafe on Elm Grove next to the comic book shop is lovely - awesome atmoshpere, good choice of music, good food and drink and computers for internet access. Quite small though.
Stamshaw and Tipner Computer Room a project run by NET7D3. Computer network. Can be hired for LAN Parties etc. Training too. Saturday morning sessions for kids free 10.00 - 12.30 every week. website - www.net7d3.co.uk Take a look. Unlike some setups it's still around and getting more popular in a climate where many others are struggling to survive. Organised by Terry and Margaret who seem to have endless amounts of patience for everyone and are very accomodating. Great fun, keep it going bros.
NET7D3.co.uk They've got a computer room in NEWCOMEN Rd. Stamshaw. 10 Pentium 4 pcs with Internet and LAN. Loads of multiplay games and other stuff. Saturday morning sessions for kids but you can hire the room for £30.00/hr and they run 24hr gaming sessions for £35.00/person and you can take your own pc and hook it up to their network if you want. I've been quite a few times now and it's great drop off the kids at the weekend to go do the shopping and have a games session during the week. Battlefield 2, Unreal tournament, Half Life and more. Brill!

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.
