Hookup Spots

Whether you're a clubbing newbie or an old skool veteran there will be something there for you. We have regular meets where we all go out on the town, take a look in our photo gallery, we have many pictures on the site of the girls and guys on nights out at local clubs, eg Amadeus, Air n Breathe, DA1, OHM etc Come and join up and say hi www.theclubber.co.uk
  • Hook up spot!! The best place right outside the County Hotel in Canterbury I met my wife there. It was love at 1st site within a month we had found a property to settle in through `County Estate Agents` and I went straight out booked our wedding in a church near Chilham and hired a `Rolls-Royce` from `Rolls Chauffeur Hire` at `Molash` to take us there and had the reception at Eastwell Manor what a place.Lots of great shops and eating places in Canterbury great place to visit.Great place to live with some of the best countryside in Kent around it.We are now well settled in now and have been looking on www.claremontworldwide.com to buy a holiday home in Spain or Cyprus through `Claremont Property Services Worldwide` you have everything you want in Canterbury & Molash and as we said its the best hook-up spot too.
  • Outside the cathedral and down by the river.
  • McDonalds if you're a 12 year old chav!
  • Starbucks - busy on saturdays but probably the most comfy and easy to get to Memorial next to Nasons - more places to sit and watch the world go by
  • The memorial's not really the main hook-up point anymore, it got taken over by chavs, we normally hang in the 'secret gardens' (greyfriars) now. When I say 'we' I do of course mean goths and grungers and skaters (and now mini-moshers, goth wannabes and total tw*ts, leave the true people to their stuff dammit!)
  • i love the bizz. i go every night to allow aki to put his hand up my skirt. he has such buttery fingers and i really enjoy every moment of that on a wednesday night in hot sweaty geezer covered bar baas. any one who really enjoys that place are right wankers. wankers.
  • the smell and frown, on palace street
  • starbucks is the place to be by the cathedral . its great but bit expense
  • Me and my fellow friends not normally meet somewhere else apart from the skateboard area where we skate, the place where we meet is "castle street," otherwise "stranges house." Castle Street is a street, derrr. In that street is a three story high carpark, where we go and skateboard on the bottom floor mostly, otherwise the top floor.
  • The best place is the Westgate Towers. Here you have the whole city at your feet with pub access a mere minute away.
  • Gotta be the memorial at the moment, but when the waether's good, the dane jon is the place to be. try the bandstand for shelter if the typical english weather kicks in!
  • The beautiful Buttermarket piazza right in front of the grand entrance to the Cathedral.
  • The courtyard at Canterbury College
  • North Holmes Road, by the post box opposite the university entrance. It's just the place to mock those students who are mentally superior to you pathetic pikey scum.
  • Dane John. Nason's square.
  • out side McDonalds in the high street. Definatly the place to be in life.
  • Don't walk passed McD's after 6pm on a Friday you're garenteed to be asked by a group of drunken kids either #Gis a fag, gal #Got a pound #Can you get me any booze and if you don;t get that then you'll have one saying something like #Oi, cum ere you f***ing stupid wh***
  • Outside the campus shop at the university.
  • McDonalds used to be THE meeting place for just about every teenager on a Saturday or after school, its just not the same since they moved it!
  • The fountain in Dane John gardens and the surrounding grass (the fountain itself is modelled on an orange squeezer- For f***s sake!
  • Big Buds (just down from Next) is the big 15 year old hangout in the early evening... although many pubs don't care about underage drinking.
  • The Clocktower (bus station end of high street) - everyone worthy enough comes here after school - tends to be years 11 and 12 though.

What is Knowhere?

The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.

We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!

If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.

Have Your Say...
