Cringing Cult of Celebrity
  • that crap and over-rated Annie Lennox. Her dad was Lord Provost (mayor) of the city once.
  • Annie Lennox's dad was Lord Provost. She doesn't come back to the city because of the continuous new developments. Also handy to stay out of the country so as not to pay tax. With the recent developments, ande proposed developments, she wouldn't want to visit it now for sure.

  • I see how Lord Byron's statue is proudly standing outside Robert Gordons - they fail to mention he only went there for about a week cos they chucked him out for taking opium and 'lewd' behaviour! Local persons who will remain unnamed (MC(ha) Bass Monkey)who have come to the sadly mistaken conclusion that they are some sort of local celebrity. Be told otherwise. A still genuine core of skaters who are keeping it real. Mostly recognisable by their tendency to break bones! ie falling down the Music Hall steps and breaking your ribs, or skating on what you think is a slightly dodgy ankle, three years later finally going into casualty and finding out you've broken it about four times!
  • willie miller....probably scotlands greatest ever defender.....
  • Owen Robinson - This likeable young man is fast becoming a cult hero with numerous talents. His joke of the day gives light at the end of the tunnel to many a Edinburgh university student and his impressions are notoriosly lifelike. However, his greatest talent is probably his table tennis ability. Despite this being his rookie season he is currewntly ranked second in D block of Cowan house - quite an achievement I think you will all agree. Other talents include boxing - who would have thought it. He is currently studying law, at the much acclaimed Edinburgh University, and is sure to pursue a succesful law career.

  • Fish? (Marrillion bloke)
  • annie lennox was born nearby
