Cafes and Coffee Shops
  • There's a few on Belmont Street and Union Street, and the usual Costas in the malls. Loads of malls.
  • Noose and Monkey, Dave is a legend
  • we need more greasy spoons! boycott costa and starbucks people!
  • Kilau sells fine sandwhiches
  • The Beautiful Mountain on Belmont St. Friendly service from pretty middle class girls who make damn good sandwiches and soups and cakes. Always something different served every day.
  • Starbucks
  • books and beans, siberia, kilau, the international cafe near eselmont and macintosh's
  • Kilau on Belmont Street, great coffee, great ambience, great artwork, chess boards on the tables - but not enough staff! It's pretty much clear your own table before you can sit down.
  • Ki:lau on Little Belmont Street has a great atmosphere and the food, drink and prices are brilliant. Also displays work by local artists which is for sale.
  • Costa Coffee has really gone to hell , this used to be the primo cafe in aberdeen up till a couple ofyears ago but now its crap. i think thids is the first time ive evere seen a successful cafe ambusheed by its own staff , the ammount of bitching and talking about customers is unbelievable. we used to go there everyday in a group of 12 of us but no more .
  • STARBUCKS! in St Nics
  • Kilau in Little Belmont Street. Above the hairdresser. Great place, great food especially the sweet or savoury crepes. Own blend coffee, not many can say that. Mixture of ages, staff are young but eager. sometimes can be very very busy but for value and quality cannot be beaten.
  • costa everywhere
  • Starbucks
  • Like ur coffee, go to costas, there r three to choose from, soup kitchen by john lewis, academy and ottackers. Starbucks coffee is awful, it will turn ur stomach.
  • O'briens on schoolhill is alway quiet and u can sit ther 4 agezzz and read all the magazines in the magazine rack, plus the staff r really nice.
  • There is a realy beautifal place on belmont street (best street in aberdeen by the way) called Books And Beans. YOu can buy some cheap home made food, take it upstairs to the 2nd hand book shop, sit on a coomfy chair and have a read for a couple of hours. Then you can buy the book because chnaces are its under £3. It's fab.
  • Costas! The hottest guys work there on Saturdays after 12. Beans is nice, and cosy. Cheaper too.
  • STARBUCKS in st nick!!!What a honking smell first thing after waking up!!!gadz
  • Do NOT go to Cafe Continental..as it burnt down and is being rebuilt!! Do Go to Angels in the academy..tasty coffee..tasty girls serving it to you.
  • Starbucks on Union Street is brilliant! The staff are really friendly (especially David!) and the Vanilla Latte is to die for!! Yes, it's a bit pricey but worth every drop!
  • Starbucks on Union Street is fantastic. Vanilla latte! Mmmmm. The staff are cool too especially this one guy. I think his name is David & he's english. HE IS SO FIT!!! He could mix my drinks anytime!!
  • The Hub is a great sandwich bar/ coffee shop on John Street just opposite the college - the food is top quality home made stuff, and the coffees are just what the doctor ordered!
  • The Inversnecky for breakfast, and the Wild Boar for cake - piss poor service though.
  • Gorgeous female staff in Starbucks on Union St.
  • The Nile and the cafe in the Lemon Tree
  • The Starbucks in the St Nicholas centre is shite but the one on Union St is quite good
  • The bar downstairs in the Belmont cinema - The staff down there are really nice guys, play cool music, the sofa's are sooooooo comfy and it's used to host some really original local art work and musicians.
  • Starbuks rule - double expresso - boiiiiiing
  • Costa coffee in the academy, you look extremely trendy sitting with you frappecino or whatever whilst everyone walks past, there's also a costa upstairs in ottakers on union street it's got heaps of sofas and i've gone up there and read a whole book for free, it's a good atmosphere for revision. Jewsters on schoolhill is a great deli with a nice family atmosphere, the food is good and they have great smoothies, and a little cheaper milkshakes. Beautiful mountain on belmont street is another great little deli and with a little backroom looks quaintly french, you can get a baguette with butter for 50p great if your a skint and need a filling snack.
  • The Wild Boar used to be good, but isn't anymore. Berni's Cafe at the beach is class - cheap'n'cheerful.
  • Starbucks in the St. Nicholas centre is the best, expensive though.
  • CAFE CONTINENTAL DOWN THE BEACH, GREAT HANG OUT FOR A DRINK AND TO RELAX, also goes for THE BOARDWALK, big comfy chairs-brilliant music, sky tv, small dance floor for confident ppl, pool tables an 18 over establishment, darts, fooze ball!!! brilliant way 2 relax with mates - also big comfy sofas and chairs and polite bar staff - and quick food - also wide range of coffees and teas!
  • Starbucks is good, Costa is affa expensive
  • The Wild Boar is populated by beautiful women who wouldn't give you the time of day, and tables that wobble.
  • Cafe Uno is good for a coffee on an afternoon, then some pints and a descent into drunkeness
  • Carmines, Panino Cafe, theres a good place down The Green too. Don't go to any of the chain places they are all shite and over priced. Hint: read the small print at the bottom of the menu to determine if the place belongs to a chain. if it does then why bother reporting on how shite it is here, every other town has them too! There's a couple of good old cafes on the beach front: The Washington and The Inversnecky.
  • Check out the Hungarian in the Adelphi beside Oh Henry's. I was banned from Oh Henry's because my mate shagged the stripper that was the proprieters girlfriend.
  • The food court at the bon accord, what a joke. That ought to be closed down. And dont even get me started on Littlewoods cafe.... its full of grey haired old dears asking for 'a cup o' tea and a scone wi' jam' in wobbly voices
  • Just for posers only
  • Littlejohns by the back entrance of Boots does reasonably priced coffe and tea type drinks
  • The cafe in that book shop in the middle of union street beside HMV.
  • Costa Coffes are springing up everywhere
