• In the mid- 1930's The Birmingham Coffee House, Rhuddlan Road, later became the Birmingham Cafe. Now converted back to a residential house. This was the "unofficial" tuck shop for what was then The Abergele County, later Grammer School in the late 1930's and 40's

• I have been born and bred in Pensarn. There is a lovly side to Pensarn, like the Park PUB which always has a queue of people wanting great food. Barry's Of Pensarn is a large store that sells everything from pet food to DIY. It sells loads of things that noone else can get hold of, like french swans. There is Robs Chippy and a local convience store. I LOVE PENSARN THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• The best building in Abergele had to be the cannon fodder hut that used to be by the library. Anyone remember that? Guns, guns yeah.

• Gwrych Castle (damn those hippies!)
• Jones' shop on the main road almost opposite Sea Road. They sold the best ice cream and cream soda pop that a kid could want. I suppose though that No 1 Park Villas - opposite the Beehive Car Park (and market?) - has to be my favourite.I was born there!!!
