• Really helpful guys On the old railway inside Craft
• Bike shop in Craft on the old Station premises...brilliant...very helpful for all things bike
• there is one, dont know what its called, down right at the bottom of great darkgate street
• BMXers are beheaded in Aber under a little known local bylaw. Shame. If you are feeling brave go see Joe in Summit Cycles. Very good guy and he keeps his prices real.
• On Your Bike, Aberystwyth. in CRAFT behind the glen and bay Ok, Its where I work but theres no better place to get your bike fixed, its all second hand parts. Funky cycle and surfboard hire too, tandems MTBs and shopping bikes. Make your own mind up!
• Cardi Cycles- excellent for unususal/old bits. Otherwise Cyclemart in Cilcennin or Summit Cycles in Aber.

• Summit Cycles in North Parade / Rhodfa'r Gogledd
• Person powered... Summit cycles, decent friendly service.
• The best bike shop (pedal power) is just outside Aber near a place called Llanrhystud (bout 10 miles away).
• Summit cycles is the most decent place to get your push-type fixed. The new mechanic is pretty good (stolen from a rival shop, no less) and all in all very good service.
• Summit cycles on Northgate. Pedal power abound, just so you can cycle up consty.
• (Pedal) Summit Cycles as a DARN good bike shop (and i should know, i work in one) considering it's small size, Joe packs a lot of good stuff into it.
• Market shop has now shut down... So only Joes (Summit Cycles) in town itself. Be warned though - slightly dodgy bike-building here!

• There is one and only sells person powered ones...Yet no sensible man buys a bike in aber and esp students since you really need strong legs to go up that hill and reach the uni
• A bike shop (kind of) has just opened in the Market hall selling second hand bikes and some new stuff (frames, bars, forks, accesories). Rumour has it that it's an outlet of Cyclemart's so they should be able to order anything that's not actually in the market shop.
• For the widest range, it's best to try to get to Cyclemart really, but if that's not possible, there's always Summit Cycles near the spar, or a bike place on the market twice a week - both will order parts or bikes in for you if not in stock. Don't even think about the one near the Boar's head...
• New shop for people who can't get to Cilcennin- don't know what its called, but its on Great Darkgate Street, near the Spar and Cambrian Tyres. The guy who runs it, Joe, is a top bloke- used to race a lot, and really knows his stuff. A great alternative to Halfords...oh, by the way- I'm on about pedal cycles here....
• Cycle Doctor on North Parade is about to shut. If he opens again anywhere in town- AVOID- he's locally known as the Cycle Butcher. Best place is Cyclemart, Cilcennin, near Lampeter.
