• Passport office in Northgate once DHSS, how did this ever get past planning regs in this street?
• The New building where the old Kings Hall was
• The castle type monstrocity on top of the site of the old Kings Hall The round building stuck on the side of the Arts Centre.... £5 million??? Who designs(sic)these things????
• The new penweddig, with its jail like appearence and cameras everywhere, flatten the teachers too
• Ceredigion and aberystwyth county council has done its best to destroy aberystwyth by its apathy in town planning. An oil terminal and recycling plant in the middle of the town...I'm not joking...sheesh.
• the steps outside the union - can anyone tell me what the hell they are for????!!!!
• The Uni??

• Pebbles Restaurant
• Most of the UWA campuses buildings. Sooooo ugly! There isn't enough leafy foliage and green space to compensate for all that grey. Especially Llandinam Building - strangely won an award in the 1970s for design, yet sucks in victims year after year who get lost in 2 seconds. The navigation code can be cracked after a while thankfully.

• Sorry to sound like everyone else but that stupid building they put up instead of the Kings Hall. A Cavery and Capricorn Gowns (old lady clothes shop) what were they thinking? And those silly balcony things .... don't get me started on that ridiculous book statue ....... Bring back the pink building.

• Plas Morolwg, the ugliest housing association flats set .in the most beautiful piece of land
• The Sea-Bank Hotel was the only hideous monstrosity that littered the sea front... and now it's gone! Burned to the ground like all good crack dens should be!! I apparently walked straight,(actually drunkenly zig-zagged), past the fire on my way home and never noticed! Though it was warm for November!

• Pantycelyn just because they speak Welsh doesnt make them better people than the rest of us
• The Hospital, or at least the concentration camp chimney on it. Most of the University buildings for being labarinthine and utterly impossible to navigate.
• Llanbadarn campus! What a hole! Full of weirdo librarian geeks and thick as shite farmers!
• Kwik Save! (near the copshop) so that scary spotty oiks could not work in it so miserably.
• The new 'art' structure. steps! What are they on!
• TCE. Wouldn't take much.
• JD wetherspoons
• Stupid House where the A487 meets the A44; Near the Tatoo Place, and while your at it Get rid of that Converted Shed!
• Safeway, good workers, pushed to the limit by evil managers
• Well, Hugh Owen's looking dodgy anyway. Stand on the concourse in front of the Arts Centre and look at how the overhanging floor (E) is sagging!! And listen for the creaking while you're inside.
• Pier Pressure.
• Now then, everyone: It's not called the Hugh Owen anything. It's called the 'Huge Organ' and to our delight, the way out architects that designed it in the 1970's (again, characters from a Harry Potter book) forgot that muggles like us actually need books in their libraries. Hence when the library was opened, they stuck books in it and this was too much for the laws of physics: it careerd off the rocks on which it was perched at a rate of 100 microns a year and I believe it is accelerating as I write: over a milimetre a year, these days and will no doubt have got to the sea before much longer, taking the rest of the campus with it. Shame it will leave an exposed, rocky gash in its wake: admit it - it will be less of an eyesore than the campus. Just deserts for Bronglais (never EVER have your stomach pumped there!) but at least it will take out the geography tower: yipee!
• McDonalds preferably when certain members of staff are still in it. Bryn Derw is grotesque, as are most of the halls.
• 15 Grays Inn Road Aberystwyth. Ah the joys of student accommodation in town! One of the many **** holes in Aber, which I would avoid like the plague if looking for somewhere to live. Oh, and the landlady is a b**ch.
• The eye-sore that is the new police station on the way to Parc y- Llyn. The old one on the prom had real character.
• The Hugh Owen Building on Penglais Campus, especially office C12, whose resident, as I'm sure you'll agree, bares an uncanny resemblance to Reg Holdsworth!
• That clock - urgh. A target for graffiti already.
• Building on King's Hall site. That horrible housing estate going up on Parc-y-Llyn. Parc-y-Llyn itself, for that matter. Half the buildings on the University campus. The very tacky clock they've just built. I'm sorry - I know it's great to have our town clock after 50-odd years, but they could have built something that looked less like it comes from a Tesco car park. Why not build it to match the local buildings? Not ones in Swindon or somewhere. (No offence to Swindon).
• Penweddig School.
• ...so many to choose from, so little space... new kings hall thing, the rheidol shopping estate by the station, parc-y-llyn (ALL of it), Huw Owen, the Union, That BLOODY belltower, the llanbadarn campus, geography tower.... the list is endless
• Get rid of the bay, it stinks
• That thing they put up where the King's Hall used to be - this opinion supported by almost everyone!
• The building that replaced the Kings Hall is vile - what a complete waste of space.The sculpture of a book outside it is really bad - and the concreted area around it is a very poor use of space.
• The physics building! surprising seeing as I do physics. Borth (nearest anything to Aber) too cos its a right dump
• The whole of Llanabdarn Campus - 70's architecture at it's worst, complete with Palm trees?!
• The aircraft hanger-type buildings at parc-y-llyn. The new houses by Llanbadarn campus, where there used to be old school ones.
• I can't believe that the bell tower at the uni was designed by Prince Charles - and HE goes on about monstrosities??!!
• Brinderau or whatever its name is its the newest hole of residence in Aber a real shite hole...the new campous developments alos insult the eye but they are not ready yet so we still hope.
• The old Art Department in Llanbadarn.
• That stupid bell-tower by the Student's union that looks like a stanley knife. The whole of the new kings hall development, especially the ridiculous sculpture outside. The Seabank... oh no, sorry, that's already collapsed in a fire. The Varsity... too sterile, and vastly overpriced.
• THE GEOGRAPHY TOWER. what an eye sore plus the department should be flattened anyway.
• The Arts Centre. It looks like shit and is already falling appart. Apparently it's sliding down the hill!
• The huge white monstrosity they put on the Kings Hall carpark. Ughh Ughh Ughh makes me want to vomit.
• The Hugh Owen Building - The main stay of the Penglais University Campus and a complete eyesore
• Certain of those halls of residence, especially the new ones which are encroaching onto Penglais woods
• That new building on the seafront where the car park used to be.
