Skateboarding Spots
- Accrington and Rossendale College. Some decent curbs for grinds and some nice manual pads.
- Accy skatepark is ok i guess it got a spine, a few quater pipes, a box and a nice three set outside.if you come their you willl prob see me there sat in the spine (the only girl) having a smoke so don't be shy come and say hello. other places to skate are outside wollies block 66 for grinding! then thier is oakhill park on the basketball courts! oh and also if it rains the is accrington and rossendale college that has a roof over a carpark. you can get some right weirdos coming up their though. plus the loading bay which is neer the main roundabout and multi story carpark in accy their is a fence to climb over to get in but it's worth it. because their is a nice drop in there! (you will have to be careful not to get caught by the guards)
- A skateboard park has been opened near the globe center.
- The skate park, its got couple of 1/2 pipe's with a spine and some 1/4 pipes with a grind box in the middle. There is a death box with 1/4 pipes at either side there are lots of transfers and lines. There are a couple of sets of steps outside the skate park and there is a car park oposite with a flatbank and lots of waxed curbs.
- Yellow bank : next to Queens Pub on Eastgate
'66 Block : Side entrance to Town Hall Union Street
College Carpark : at the back.
- Outside Woolies, or better still the multi storey, but they close it at six!
