Cheap Food
- Two of the restaurants listed have now closed. Lehanes has been replaced by The Coyote which offers an up-market winebar type menu (doesn't offer takeaway sandwiches any more). The Standard Tandoori has closed completely
- You might like to know that lovely Lehane's on Churchfield Road is no more. I haven't tried the new place. It's not the same as the best risotto this side of the Alps (as served at Lehane's), but you could give the Welsh organic burgers at the Churchfield pub a try if you're peckish.
- The Rocket is the best by far. Next to Acton Central and was placed in the Top 5 gastro pubs by the EveningStandard. Other than that - go to Chiswick!
- The Standard on the High Street does a nice curry at a reasonable price.
