Famous residents and ex-residents.

You can tell us more about Addlestone.

Cringing Cult of Celebrity
  • Cliff richards here once in a while
  • A FRIEND TOLD ME THAT SUSIE AMY LIVES IN ADDLESTONE
  • well, saint georges hill is in weybridge, the next town , people like cliff pichard and people like that live there, kate winslet used to live in addlestone.
  • Virtually everyone famous has a house on St George's Hill in neighbouring Weybridge, although most would rather take the long route anywhere than be seen in shitey Addlestone. Jennifer Peed who I'm told was in some short-lived 80's sitcom is supposed to live somewhere nearby...
  • Gordon Brown's ex-spin doctor came to a football match here once... Squadron Leader Andy Snook
  • Craig Charles lived there for a spell
  • In Addlestone, never! However, apart from four visits by Paul Young, I have seen Sir Cliff Richard in the Doctors surgery and bumped into him at Lyne Garden Centre and Tesco Brooklands. We may not have our own but we can borrow loads from Weybridge where they all seem to live. I have seen Judy Tzuke, Nick Faldo, Jim Davidson and his mate whose name I forget, the one who does Big Break with him. Seen Ant & Dec but that was in Staines in a car. Also another guy whose name I've forgotten, Bernard somebody who did a voice on the Wombles, or Paddington or something.
  • Scott Taylor- I went to Abbeylands at the same time as Scott Taylor. We both did p.e. for gcse. A couple of years ago, he was playing for Bolton and scored against Spurs(nice one scott). Dont know where he his now. Thats about the only one from Addlestone, I think.
  • The chap who holds the "World Land Yacht speed record" lives in Dustbin (sorry, Surrey) Towers.
  • None I can think of!
