The places where you buy your music

You can tell us more about Addlestone.

Record Shops
  • Archive records, Station road (next to the railway station) re-opened in 2009 300,000 records in stock
  • Nothing specific - but then the choice in Tescos is almost as big as Virgin or HMV anyway!
  • There's archive but its mainly LP's which are old but pretty cool. And u can only get old classic stuff like zeppelin and deep purple. Oh and ac/dc etc.
  • THERE IS A GREAT INDEPENDANT RECORD SHOP ON ADDLESTONE HIGH STREET 'ARCHIVE RECORDS' SPCIALISES IN VINYL AND IS A REAL TREASURE TROVE.ITS ON STATION ROAD NOT FAR FROM CORFE BOOKS (ANOTHER GREAT SHOP)
  • there is a record shop, but its on the verge on closing down, its next to the train station, its really cramped but a good place to go. Or i normally get the train to woking at go to HMV or Virgin.
  • HMV in Woking sell a wide range of stuff, but no decent independents or the like anywhere locally.
  • Sea of Sound, closed. Apparently the owner went a bit doo'lally and ended up being sectioned. Archive, next to the level crossing is a stunning memorial to the delight that is vinyl! I *can't* leave the place without buying something, even if it's just an old punk 7". I love it!
  • There's always that shop on the high street which is barred up and doesn't look like its had a customer, let alone an owner in years.
  • "SEA OF SOUND" IN THE OLD HIGH St IS WICKED... LOADS OF PRE-RELEASE & RARE STUFF TO FIND.
  • There are two specialist records shops, one on the High Street, which sells video games and new c.d.'s and one on Station Road selling oldies on vinyl. However, c.d.'s are cheaper online than at Woolies!
  • There is a new shop selling old records just by the level crossing
  • Right next door to each other, Sea Of Sound and Surrey Exchange & Mart in the High Street. Both sell second hand stuff. SoS at reasonable prices.
  • Only Woolworths! Rather sad really.....
