The Worst Things in Addlestone, Surrey*
The entirely missable and worth mentioning because of it
You can tell us more about Addlestone.
The Worst Things
- surrey towers
- TESCOS IS EXPANDIIIINNNGGG
- surreyu towers, full of pikies and chavs
- This list could potentially be very long...prolific vile chavs, the town's a bit of a dump, no decent shops, the train service is pretty damn crap, the number of Funeral Directors and old people's homes suggests either everyone is a geriatric or that there's a short life expectancy here...both are probably true
- I once went through Addlestone when i got the wrong train. It was not a pretty sight! First i saw boarded up concrete council estates, then high rise flats and when we stopped at the train station the people who got on in their large gangs were shouting aggressively at eachother and everyone else. The people on the platform kindly threw beer bottles at the train, while beefy tatooed women swigged vodka while pushing their babies in prams. Fights seemed to be breaking out and i dared not to look at any of the beer swilling youths that had got on board. To top it off there was an old tramp resembling a santa clause who had passed his sell by date passed out on the edge of the platform. There were various bottles of whisky scattetred around him.
- Probably the residents, especially those around Surrey Towers and the Liberty Lane area.
- the people of addlestone
- driving into addlestone and seeing all those gypo's and pykies along with the underage mums pushing god knows how many kids living on any number of the estates that is addlestone.
- A TESCOs WHERE CO-OP USED TO BE.
- The M25 and its possible widening, the threat to build on the land to the rear of Franklands Drive which will ruin the nicest part of Addlestone, the threat to build a motorway service station, the increased volume of traffic and pollution from the building of T5, the threat of Central Railway. One day someone will realise we are full up and there isn't room for one of these things, let alone all of them!
- Waiting at the level crossing for 5 minutes before a train slowly crosses the road into the station.
- It's near the M25 & dwarved by the ultra hip & posh "village" of Weybridge.
