- The Nelson is under new management and it's entertainment side, The Nellie, has live music and a monthly Music Night/Open Mic Night.
The Nellie, the entertainment side of The Lord Nelson in Alcester, is hosting an Open Mic Night once a month, hosted by Chris Johnson and Kate Conway. The event is a very relaxed affair - if you want to play just let Chris or Kate know at some point during the evening and they'll get you onstage when you are ready to play. If you aren't a solo performer but would like to collaborate with other musicians they will do their best to help to hook you up with other like-minded individuals. It's a top night!
- the holly bush has session nights and regularly hosts local bands. these are well received and attended and always successful and popular.
