- David's Place is by far, the best bar in town, attracting a strange, but friendly eccentric crowd.
- The Mill Inn at Aldeburgh has since changed hands in dec 2004 and is now run by a friendly and fun duo Sue & Dennis - you are sure of a warm welcome and a few poor jokes from the landlord!! A very friendly couple - landlady is luuurvely!! They diserve a huge mention for turning the place around and making a cracking good job of it - thought you should know as the people previously mentioned have now moved on and you should update to these peeps. their e-mail is suelpeel15@aol.com
- DAVID'S PLACE OR DP'S IS WITHOUT DOUBT THE BEST BAR IN TOWN WITH A GOOD MIX OF YOUNG & OLD DRINKER'S
- GREAT ATMOSPHERE IN DAVID'S PLACE. MANY OLD ECCENTTRICS, INCLUDING THE LANDLORD!! ALL WITH A STORY -OR 2 TO TELL. PIXIE & BILL FIT THIS BILL.
- The Mill Inn - great pub run by two local people. Excuse the landlord but he has only got one ear that works, the otherone is merely decoration and balances his head up
- The pub next to the original chip shop may or may not be frequented by local fishermen. It's also a very good pub if you're a visitor looking for a decent pint, or a fine range of whisky.
- There are several pubs, suprisingly for the size of the town, but the most frequented would be the Cross Keys - it's within spitting distance of the Jubilee Hall, and is therefore the pub that is frequented by the performers after the show. the pub next to Aldeburgh's famous chip shop is open during the day, but is mostly frequented by the local fishermen.
