The Stuff We Can't Fit In Somewhere Else
- you gotta be in town for the carnival - bank holiday monday onwards in August otherwise the towns a bit dead and full of 'weekenders'
- Recomend visiting Aldeburgh in the summer, or in festival times - the town is rather quiet without the visitors. Having a vehicle is must in Aldeburgh, and I'd recomend staying in a B&B - the locals can tell you much more about the sites around to visit than any guide book can
- Aldeburgh is world renowned for the Aldeburgh Festival, a festival that Benjamin Britten set up for the promotion of new music, and still continues today every June. there is also the Aldeburgh Early music festival which runs every Easter.
