Live Music Venues
- The White Hart in Tongham has live bands on the last Thursday of the month.
- The West End Centre - the only reason I'm filling out this form but reason enough in itself. A cracking little venue with amazing contacts and a raft of good gigs (recently The Subways, Bedouin Soundclash and a brilliant British Sea Power), comedians, arts etc. Great staff and not a chav in sight. How they do what they do is a mystery to me but I'm damn grateful that they do - if you haven't been, stroll down and check out the upcoming events, I guarantee you'll be impressed.
- Princes Hall I suppose... If you go to Guildford, there's the park where they have Guilfest [amazing] plus some quite good venues. Woking has some good places, and obviously Basingstoke, London, Southampton and Portsmouth are all not too far, so are possible for music venues!!

- West End Centre and Princes Hall
- West End Centre. Great for good band well before fame and others. Also the Princes Hall (check out Dead Men Walking 9/10/2003)
- The 'Westie' West End Centre if great for gigs and music. The Princes Hall does a load too....Aldershot is lucky really, between these two venues all age groups can find their kind of entertainment.
- Princess Hall attracts some decent names, Belinda Carlisle often plays there and they get a lot of comics performing there also like Les Dennis, Jimmy Tarbuck.
- The West End Centre - Aldershots saving grace. Manages to book an impressive range of acts, most of a pretty high calibre.
- The West End Centre
- WEC the one and only, no its not fucking closing and no its not for grungy 14 yr olds. WEC puts on ALL types music ranging from the obvious punk indie-schmindie to DJ nights weds, 'disco' nights blues jazz (nice) solo acoustic blah blah blah every fucking thing . Oh and the beers cheap too, staff are great and not a pissed up wanking squaddie for 100 yrds down the road.
- The West End Centre, Princes Hall
- The West End Centre (Queens rd)- IS OPEN! I know as I work there sometimes! Music is not all punk and grunge- but if you like that stuff there is plenty for you there. There is also comedy (monthly on Sunday night), art gallery, workshops, theatre, live DJ's, world music, blues, folk guitar. It is in a class of it's own.
- Alexanda Hotel- excellent music played friday nights but helps if your gay-good scene.
- The West End Centre (The Westie) for grunger type music gigs
- The WESTY!!!!! the gr8est place in da whole of Aldershot and beyond!!!!!
- West End Centre says it all, from quiet solo guitar nights to major moshing grunge nights, they have held a kerrang concert, hundred reason conserts, zero cipher concerts. Just go there and pick up a leaflet.
- Don't know why you still have out of date info on the West End Centre closing. It's not! It's packed every week. They have gigs every weekend, comedy, theatre, free dj nights...don't listen to those moaning gits who say there's nothing to do. Check it out for yourself.
- Princes hall for tasteful stuff.
