• The swing park at the Moss of Balloch. Drumkinnon Bay used to be a great place to hang around before it was trawled over and ruined.

You just make Alexandria seem like a wonderful place...... u seem to miss out all the good points and forget about anything good. • hello, while i agree balloch, nightmares, the back room is a shit hole, oh yeah and duckbay, ive got to say, being from this area ive noticed that the peole who frequent these places are small minded assholes with little or nothing else to do with their time, hence the reason nightmare lost its permit, good thing too i might add, perhaps these people will see there is a big world outside theirhell(balloch). this also might just broaden their horizons! usually i would be offended of my area being ripped to shreads, but on this occasion i couldnt agree more, 10 out of 10 for observation! keep up the good work!
• Christie Park, in the summertime. The Clydesdale bank Mitchell Way and thats probably it, the vale is shite and theres nowhere to go. Well u could go 2 the youth centre but thats shite 2.
• The Accident & Emergency Unit at the Vale Hospital on a weekend night seems to be where the most colourful characters from this hellhole of a town hang out and shout a lot.

• The mid-teen hordes now seem to have progressed to the Christie park gates where, it seems, they don't have to dream of getting into the pubs because sometimes it looks like the pub has come to them. In Balloch, Mcdermids shop is the hangout where they sometimes persist in congregating despite attempts to keep them dispersed. The patio area in front of the tourist information office is also a fave bit.
• The swings in Christie Park, the shops at Renton, or if you have a car, the car park opposite Somerfields in Balloch.
