• The neds. Kill them all I say. They travel in packs.
• Everything, look at the place
• The inhabitants. Full of neds (both young ones and adult ones). It's full of morons who are brought up there and then actually choose to continue to live there when they are adults. They are the type of people who can't bear to live more than 5 minutes from their mammies and who really should move to live in Glasgow as soon as possible and try to get a life.
• mmm...all of it???
• WHITE SOCKS! NEDS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
• McDonalds in Balloch(imagine working there eeeeeeew!) average queue 12 minutes, food, 2 out of 10(once you wait that 'couple of minutes' the food is STILL cold) Best Advice: Go to Burger King (or McDonalds in Dumbarton, 4 miles away)
• Nothing for teenagers to do, except hanging around street corners.(not in the prostitute sense)
• was the glasgow over spill which could have been a good thing in the long run as i probably would still have been in the vale instead of having a good time here in canada i have been hearing a lot of bad stuff about the vale which i have always been proud off saying i came from the vale but im not so sure of now
• The apparent absence of: manners, respect for others/themselves and general intelligence of the natives.
• What have they done to Alexandria Old Parish Church? I'm a non-believer but it's a shame that the former centre of village life now contains a bouncy castle. Visitors paying respect to the resting places of their ancestors in the graveyard are assaulted by the smell of hamburgers wafting from the kitchen and pop music blaring from the main entrance.
• The way some people screech at each other over the road. Doesn't happen anywhere else. The automatic compulsion to cross the road in front of a car as if it's no right to be there. The way the local council thinks it has been elected to argue with each other about completely unimportant trivia and points of order, rather than getting on with running the place better.
• The town is, in general, a dump. Mitchell Way, the roundabout at the station, the decaying Main Street, and the rainbow coloured someone-ate-a-splicer-next-to-it Bonhill Bridge are all witness to the unbelievable town planning of the last few decades. 'Up the Hill' has to be seen to be believed, often referred to locally as 'Little Bosnia' particularly by the local CB fraternity.
• Locals have an apathetic attitude problem with no sense of civic pride. A perfect example of this which I have been trying to correct is the spelling of Argyll Street, which was built by, and named after Argyll Motors Ltd. The council, the Lennox Herald (local rag), and even a bowling club which uses the adjacent Argyll Park have all adopted the Glaswegian spelling of Argyle Street. Philistines!
• Traffic calming measures on Middleton Street. Boy racers in black Scirrocos and white Novas now give it welly, David Coulthard style through the chicanes in what is a highly residential area.
