The place to go for a lazy afternoon, pub quiz or last call
You can tell us more about Alford.
Pubs
- rock on the brig
- The Haughton, featuring plenty of aggressive, belligerent wankers, ugly girls, and rude barstaff. The Vale is OK although it's a bit of an Old Man's pub, and too small (espcially when a band is playing). You can get into the the Golf Club bar if you go with someone who's a member, or if you're a freemason ;)
- Both complete dives
- the haughton is the most popular. good things: pint £1.80. bad things: probably get started on, pub is complete dive, VERY young crowd
Vale: fuck knows. full of off duty teachers from the academy. probably shit.
