- top cafe-cant go wrong
- Been to alston for first time, Stumbled across a restaurant in Nenthead called the Overwater Lodge where we had the best meal we ever had anywhere including the Merchant House in Ludlow. Definately a hidden gem .
- The most unfriendliest landlord i have ever met was at Alston House tiny weeny measely portions that taste of card board, what a rip off! accomadation sucks too
- well the is two chippy's was a gregs but no more and most pubs do bar meals

there is munch for loadsa different shit
- the scranary fat food at a high price cook yourself its so much better
- the pizza shop is always there if your hungry may not be open though as some young ruffian will probably have smashed the window in !
