- i reckon pizza express in alton is actually pretty quick service baring in mind everything is made from scratch in comparison to other restaurants. food isn't expensve and there's a diverse menu for vegetarians or people with allergies or people who don't even like pizza. It does get full at weekends
- Definately "The Departure Lounge Cafe" on the Basingstoke Road. Breakfasts all cooked fresh and include free teas and coffees. nic nice food and good portions for sod all output of your wallet! would recommend to anyone
- station cafe everyone loves it dirty greasy breakfast the bikers know best

- 4 italian restaurants, Prezzo's new, nice menu, bit pricey, posh inside, but the chef seems to have managed to make every dish really bland. Osteria Anticca, nice trad. Italian. Pizza Express- slow service and stupid staff, never very busy but always takes an age to get anything. slice of Pizza place on High Street if you like your Pizza's well greasy. Lots of Indian restaurants, best is a take away called the 'Balti Hut' Man's is the best Chinese takeaway.
